If you watched the last incident in which a one motor kept spinning on my ZMR 250, it was resolved by swapping the motor, on removing the shrink-wrap from the bullet connects, all the bullets fell off. So the symptom looks weird, but it appeared to be caused by a dodgy connection.
This flight was after some more tuning. It felt perfect on the WDR flight cam, but there's still a few wobbles in the Mobius footage I need to look at. However, the main thing is that the quad now really flies as I want it too and is very responsive. The only think I might do is bring the roll/pitch value down to 0.5 or 0.55. The roll rate on 0.4 was too slow, 0.6 is great, but I've had a few over corrections as seen in this flight. Might be a case of practice makes perfect though.
If you are interested in how I do my tuning, let me know. I thought about doing a video of how I use the profiles to experiment with... but I'm no great expert at it :)

On test today are HGLRC's new Thor range of charging/discharging gear. A 4 port parallel charge board with an in-built discharge module, and the standalone version of the discharge module. As it's raining outside and I can't fly, I'll charge and discharge some lipos!
These products were kindly supplied by HGLRC for review, so please check out the (affiliate) links for more details.

Is this the one micro brushless quad to rule them all, can it unseat the mighty Aurora 100 from the top (IMO at least) of the stack ? Lets find out.
As mentioned, this quad was kindly supplied by Banggood for review, so here's their (affiliate) link if you want to check the quad out - https://goo.gl/UivwYS
Well, we certainly had some issues out of the box with this quad, which is annoying for an RTF quad, but happy to say I got them sorted. I do need to get it flown a lot more to see just what this little quad can do, and if there's more tuning or small changes I want to do.
So I'll be back with some more videos featuring the Lizard 95 soon (probably when the 4 extra lipos I ordered arrive)

It's half-term week, so myself and my daughter Sophie have been generally messing around, but wanted to try out a safe version of the Elephant's toothpaste experiment.
This is a bit of a dribble compared to the strong concentration of chemicals used in the normal demonstration, but it is a lot safer and you can happily do this in the kitchen without any thing blowing up/getting permanently burned/stained/etc
Here's the sciencey bit behind the experiment: The yeast acts as a catalyst to remove the oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide. Since it does this very fast, it creates lots of bubbles. The reaction is also exothermic - it creates heat as well as foam.
Much better explanations can be found online with the help of google, we just looked up how it was done after seeing it a few times :)
