0:49 USB MINI MASTERRACE, Type C is ok, I guess.
3:55 Ok, so it PROBABLY needs buttons... But a capacitive sense would be neat, either way, it needs PCB and buttons

The Plico is finished, and it is glorious.
Spent WAY too much time at the laser cutter today, and figured out some cuts that lock MX switches in acrylic plates! It took a lot of trial and error, and testing weird settings and multiple passes, but it was worth it to hear that SNAP of the switch locking into place! It doesn't technically lock, but it locks. Watch the video, decide for yourself.
Finished a test cut on a less expensive version of the Plico using 0.08 acrylic. Everything fits on it, and technically, the hinge is better, but it lacks a lot of the charm of the full Plico. Sure, it's clear, and it'll backlight nicely (maybe even better than the original), but it just feels off having handled the full version. That said, it still works. The wire channels are large enough, and the gear channel is technically improved, and it works. So if you want to get a Plico or just have a handy travel board that might not qualify as a daily driver, you can't beat $30 for the case kit!
