Climate Change- We Have Not Done Enough
We all watched with amazement when exactly one year ago young people took to the streets to express their feeling that we're not doing enough about climate change, that we're not treating it like the emergency it is. One year on, have we done enough?

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the Goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and the start of #16Days of Activism.
#Goal5 promises to end violence against women and girls, but in 2019 146 women in France were killed by a current or former partner, and with Covid-19 lockdowns, cases of domestic violence have risen sharply
A group of French activists, Les Colleureuses, are exposing the reality of this “shadow pandemic” through a poster campaign protesting gender violence.
They are on a mission to publicly expose the reality that France has the highest femicide rate in Western Europe and ask the government to do more to end all forms of gender-based violence.

Women are half of the population, but society does not treat them as equals. This is a legacy that needs to change here and now.
