DJI FPV DRONE, The Sad Truth! (FPV pilot honest opinion)
So, after my initial release of the DJI FPV DRONE teardown video, I got a bunch of questions about how the thing actually flies.
In this video, I will try and express my honest opinion, the sad truth from an FPV pilot's perspective.
As a guy who deals with electronics on a daily basis, I can't ignore that the actual electronic design of the drone is impeccable. But from the FPV pilot standpoint, this is pure garbage in terms of flying characteristics. As I will explain in the video too, this doesn't matter if you are coming from a DJI Mavic for example. Then this product is just for you if you want a taste of a more dynamic flying experience!

Today I repair yet another water damaged board. It's a KISS Fc v2. Another good example of how bad salt water affect electronics especially if they are powered up when in contact with the salt water.
I hope you guys are not obligated to repair something like this but sh*t happens, unfortunately, and hope that I can help out in this sad scenarios...

So because of COVID, we needed to improvise, so the local community organized something Adhoc, non-official fpv race in the woods and we camped in the woods too. It was a crazy racing weekend but unfortunately, I only managed to fly 2 freestyle packs, one in the morning and one between races. Too bad the second day was cut short by the weather but for sure this camp race event will happen again and I am for waiting for it :P

So, Jumper released their new T18 remote. Which has some improvements!
In this video, I go over what's new and my honest take on this remote.
My recommendation? if you have a Jumper T16, stay with it! You are not missing a lot of stuff, except maybe the Alps encoders about witch I will make a separate video after I will properly test the remote and give my final thoughts about those encoders as an alternative to Hall sensors.
I cannot say anything about other remotes... but this T18 PRO has great quality components and worths the money(in my opinion) but obviously, the final choice is yours and what you can take from reviewers.

Got the new props from T-Motor and gave them a shot. As you will find in the video content I settled on the 5147 for my flying style.
Both props are well crafted and pretty stiff, perfectly balanced/tracking.
5146: Felt sluggish hard to spin up fast, produced propwash and slight oscillations(guess they resonate more), quite amp hungry. I would say they are good for racing/light builds/high torque motors
5147: Has that smooth feeling to it but not underpowered, good low throttle response, no propwash present except on extreme moves but even then they are barely felt/heard, no audible resonances/oscillations. I would say perfect for freestyle rigs with low kv
Of course, I am nowhere near a prop expert and what I said was purely from my own perspective. Most props these days perform somehow the same with marginal differences. Only things to consider in my opinion is price, durability, response over the throttle range, not self-resonating, vibration frequency.
