Coming from Vapour Distillery in Boulder Colorado comes this lovely American whiskey consisting of of 51% corn, 44% malted barley and 5% rye. What’s unique about this offering is that it’s finished (on a stage) for around 8 months in sherry casks, bringing in tons of sweet sherry influence. Bottled at a beautiful 47% means it’s a great start to any bourbon journey and perhaps could help bridge the gap between scotch drinkers and bourbon drinkers because this is American whiskey made for the scotch whisky drinker.
