Seeing the Taj Mahal, a childhood's dream come true ??
In this video I visit the Taj Mahal, it has been a childhood dream of mine to visit this master piece. I saw it so many times in pictures and videos and finally I witnessed it in real.
After spending a few hours at the Taj Mahal I had some lunch followed by some indian sweets for dessert.
As white marble is very famous in the region of Agra I went to see how it was made in a local workshop, check out their instagram page if you would be interested in buying something: @marbleshop_india
To close off this beautiful day I went to visit the sunset point across the river from the Taj Mahal.

In this video I hike through the tea plantations around Nuwara Eliya to eventually make my way to the small village called Courtlodge where first a friendly lady shows me the temple and then a friendly guy shows me a hidden waterfall.
During the hike I got annoyed a few times by the greediness of tea pluckers and begging kids but it's all good. Overall it was a great day!

Follow me while I do this scenic hike in the South-Eifel region in the NaturWanderPark delux. It goes through the valley of the Our river and passes by the castles of Falkenstein and Vianden. It's a combination of Nat'Our Route 4 and 5. During this multi-country hike I start in Germany and make my way to Luxemburg and back.

Song-Kul is a beautiful alpine lake in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. There are several options to get there and one of them is by walking. I started from the Kyzart Pass and made my way to Kelimche valley in this video and I slept for the first time in a Yurt.

On my first day in Jakarta I decided to go for a walk from the Selamat Datang Monument https://maps.app.goo.gl/2acKjwF5hfUrZFvHA to the Monas monument https://goo.gl/maps/ArnQnMh3XHwqXaW9A to get a feel of how Central Jakarta is.
While walking around I realized how friendly Indonesian people are. Countless locals and tourists came to say hi and/or take pictures with me. Overall my first impressions of Jakarta was amazing!
While walking I tried foods such as Coconut Pancake (Kue Ape) and Fish Chips (Krupuk).
From the Monas Monument I took a tuktuk to the Istiqlal Mosque https://maps.app.goo.gl/hEwAaGWsvFJP5P549 and after that I had a quick look at the Jakarta Cathedral.

Without much planning I took off on a road trip through, what afterwards seemed a beautiful destination. The stunning Slovakia did not disappoint with its beautiful nature, captivating cities and cute little villages.
Most people that visit Slovakia go to Bratislava or the Tatras which is mountain range that is shared between Poland and Slovakia. I decided to go and explore the places that are lesser known to foreign tourists.
In this video I visit the small cosy town Zdiar in the High Tatras from here I visited Bachledova Dolina or also known as the treetop walk. I walked over the trees, climbed the watch tower, took the toboggan down and after all that I chilled a bit in the area while taking in some stunning landscape views. In the evening I explored the little town Zdiar and had some delicious food.
