In this video I briefly touch upon the many incorrect teachings on what most people call Hell. In the 14th Century- Catholic Poet- Dante Alighieri wrote a 3 part poem called- The Divine Comedy. In part 1 of that Poem, Dante depicted Hell as an inferno where he talked about his "journey" through different levels/circles of suffering in Hell. This gave birth to the rise of the Doctrine of Purgatory. He also stated that the devil rules and reigns in Hell. Eventually this fiction became the platform that would form modern popular Christian view regarding the doctrine of "Eternal Hell Fire". It is a Mythos (A set of beliefs or assumptions about something. A traditional or current narrative theme or plot structure).
