Oh boy, that MRTV stream was fantastic wasn't it? But watching 3 hours of it is a big ask, so I've boiled it all down for you! I'm pretty sure I got all the information accurately, but let me know if I got anything wrong.
Cheers!

Ooookay
Listen, I had a blast with parts 1-3, but I absolutely hated this one.
I was just frustrated and pissed off the whole episode, and, I'm sure you'll be hearing it in my voice the whole time, because I sound like crap.
I hated the puzzles with the red barriers, I felt I needed more clues, maybe I'm a thickie, who knows, but it took me forever to get past those and one them I had to throw in the towel and look up the solution.
But holy cow, was the boss fight the most frustrating experience I've had in many years. Most of it really, just being control issues with getting the kinetic blast spell to trigger, I was doing it right, but the default grip strength settings on the Index Knuckles I just couldn't get to work properly no matter how I messed with it. Most of the game this never came up, or I had all the time in the world to mess around with it to get it working, but under the duress of combat I could not get it to work. Another issue was the boss hit you so hard, he'd get you in about two hits I figured so if you got hit, you had to heal up and dodge around for ages while your mana restored so you could take another run at it. It just took FOREVER.
That all said, I beat that boss legit, but it wasn't a matter of fun, it was purely a matter of honour that I had to defeat that jerkwad, and when it was over, I just felt relief that I could finally stop.
Honestly, this was an awful marathon, and I cut out more than 40 minutes of just swearing and looking around confused. I hated most of this episode, I can't lie, and I'm just glad that it's over and I'm out of that terrible mine.
Buuuuuut look at the interesting place I end up! Well now, that looks like a very nice change, doesn't it? So here is hoping Part 5 restores the pleasure I've had with this game until this point.

Here is my Pimax News: Portal is estimated to ship in April.
So, sorry for the offset view -- I'll fix that in the next video. The steamvr window just doesn't work properly on Pimax hardware I find. I have to use the older, unsupported OpenVR plugin and its extremely awkward. But it does work, usually.
Hope you guys had fun coming along with me in my terrible ocean adventure, this is a really good game and I really, cannot overstate how much I hated the experience of being underwater.
A future review of the bHaptics gear will come, although I'm not sure if I'll wait until I get the haptic facial interface or not yet. I'd love to do the proper set, but we'll see.

This is a great classic game that came out in October of 2019, but it didn't get a lot of attention then, and it has problems playing on the Quest 2. But its actually a great game still, and I play some.
Hello lads, lovelies and everyone in between!
TONIGHT, on Jame-Jame's VR, I get roofied,
Richard crashes a pirate ship, and
James gets murdered by an evil wizard.
So this is my first attempt at a playthrough, I hope you all have fun watching, I had fun making it! ☺
Share what you think and especially if you'd like to see more of this style on JJVR's.
As usual, and I hate to sound like a broken record, but if you had fun, please like, subscribe and leave a comment and share this video! ?
Loooove ya! ??

Technical Stuff:
On a Pimax, this game doesn't require Parallel Projection and generally worked fine, but there was a bit of culling on the edges here and there. I didn't fix it this time because it really didn't bother me, but next episode I'll pop in the Universal Culling Fix from here. This isn't commonly required, but some games do want it, Blade and Sorcery being a good example.

Hello my lads and lovelies!
NMS is an old title really, but the devs have continued to develop this game and its one of the absolute most fun VR titles available today. I think a lot of VR games don't think of NMS as a real VR title and that's a mistake. Make sure your PC is badass though.
I go over the controls, since a lot of them are not obvious or inconsistent and really not documented anywhere. If you've played this game flatscreen, just trust me that in VR it's a whole different experience.
Haha, what can I say, sometimes plans don't turn out. But at least I get to show off some gameplay without the screen being obnoxiously displaced.
Into the Radius is a fine game with just incredible potential and it seems well on its way, but the alpha versions have some bugs and crashes, and sometimes I don't have all the information I actually need.
Still, even with that, this is a fantastic game with a very cool future.
Hello everyone, not sure what to make of this "experience" but I put it out there for a bit of silly fun. I notice I say "Relive" but I mean "ReVIVE", that's the tool to play Oculus PCVR exclusives on non-Meta hardware.
Here is the link to it. It says "HTC Vive or Index" but it works like a charm for Pimax too -- infact, Pitool integrates with it smoothly. Very cool.

Hello Lads, Lovelies, and everyone inbetween!
Today, Song in the Smoke came out on steam, and is now availble for pretty much any headset.
I've been waiting for this title to come out of steam for a while now, its been out on the hardware vendor lockin stores, although I had no interest in getting it on something like that. I wanted steam, and I wanted to play it on my chosen headset, my Pimax 8k X.
I ran into one issue is that the fixed foveated rendering had display errors, showing up as black edges where the foveation (is that a word?) would be. I disabled that and ran into no further problems at all with this game, and performance was excellent.
This is a very neat survival game, I love the crafting, and I'm really looking forward to playing this more on my own time and maybe revisiting it when I've got some middle-game content to show.
