I clean, sand, prime and paint the metal parts, install the coin door, speaker and the marquee backlight. Then I make a simple control panel with some more of the black laminated vinyl. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2oFICRFqZ0
This is part three and I continue work on the keyboard, clean up the corrosion of the RF shields and clean the inside of the plastic base.
I hope to have the retro bright stuff for the weekend so I can continue this project.

I changed the depth of the panel and incorporated the clear plastic MM holder into it. this should now be thin enough to replace the old EL panels, PCB and the plastic MM holder.

I started this after teensy tetris. Everything is drawn with 2x2 rectangle's and characters based on the original arcade game. The game is working so it has lives and a score system. I am working on the overall timing and more animated frames. Next big task is samples using some type of audio shield.

In this video I am going to replace a damaged tonearm on a Technics 1200 Gold edition. I would normally just swap the S-bend and bearing part, but I didn't have the gold parts so I swapped the complete tone arm.
If you do this, please note the parts when putting it back together for correct tonearm movement. The 5 wires need to follow the correct path, the antiskate needs to be setup and the height adjustment started in the correct place on the base.
For more info on taking the base apart and the phonos check my other video.

so this is the long boring part when I cut the plywood sheet down to size. First we cut the width to 19 inches and then we use the cabinet sides to measure and workout the length of each part and how they fit together. Some parts like the top have angles at the joints so we have to cut these on the table saw. It's as compact as I could make it and i cut so much out and filled up every SD card I had, but that is what happens when you make it up as you go along !

In this video I calibrate a Technics 1210 with a cheap multimeter using the frequency function. First disconnect the pitch board and set vr302 to 2.7K while the pitch lock is on. Then reconnect the pitch board and use the frequency function of the meter to measure TP27. Set Vr301 to 262.08 or as close as possible with your meter and that should be back to factory settings. Looking at the video while editing and I should have set 262.1 instead of 262.0 as this would be closer to the .08 needed.
I used the VICI VC99, but any multimeter that can measure frequency will work. Check out EEVblog for guides to multimeters.
