If you own a Bernina model 707 through 729 or 801 through 819, it may need a bobbin winder replacement at some time if it hasn't already been replaced. They tend to get noisy and the only fix is to replace it. Unfortunately Bernina no longer supply the original winder but a reproduction is available from a 3rd party. The issue with the 3rd party reproduction bobbin winders is, because of a design flaw, the little bobbin locating pin protrudes too far, making installing a bobbin onto the winder shaft very awkward. I have devised a fix for it but you need to use parts from the original Bernina bobbin winder. The bobbin winder is easy to replace and I have a video showing the process here... https://youtu.be/KBkpM1zmeMk The pin and spring can be transferred from the original bobbin winder into the reproduction unit, effectively fixing the issue. If you no longer have the original bobbin winder, the locator pin could be modified but it's very fiddly.
