Happy to see PSE&G supporting renewables!
In 2009, Public Service Enterprise Group, the largest utility company in New Jersey, announced plans to install solar panels on 200,000 utility poles in its service area, the largest such project in the world.[15][16] The Solar 4 All project intends to increase the capacity for renewable energy in New Jersey by 120 MW and is expected to be completed in 2013.[17] In addition to 40 MW of pole mounted power,[18] PSEG is building four solar farms in Edison, Hamilton, Linden, and Trenton.[19] 40 MW is expected to come from customer installed projects.
The PSE&G Solar 4 All™ program will add 80 megawatts (MW) of solar electric generation capacity to the PSE&G electrical system by early 2013. That is enough solar energy to power about 13,000 average size New Jersey homes each year.
Solar 4 All provides numerous benefits to PSE&G customers and the State of New Jersey
The power generated by Solar 4 All projects is tied directly into the electric grid to be used by all PSE&G electric customers
Every one of the panels placed in service generates value from the sale of its electricity and capacity into the wholesale electric grid, the solar renewable energy certificates (SRECs) that it generates and the federal investment tax credits PSE&G attracts. PSE&G monetizes this value and the dollars are returned to customers which helps offset the cost of the program
Solar 4 All provides a greatly increased amount of clean, carbon free renewable energy in New Jersey. This renewable energy replaces some amount of traditional fossil fuel electric generation.
The program is helping to create jobs and drive economic development by making New Jersey a leading state for solar power.
Solar 4 All is divided into two main initiatives -- 40 megawatts in "neighborhood" solar (pole attached solar units)and 40 megawatts of "centralized" solar. By dividing the program into these two broad categories, PSE&G can take advantage of some previously untapped resources -- space on utility poles, unused remediated brownfields and flat-top roofs.
By installing solar panels on utility poles, building solar farms and leasing space on roof tops PSE&G is able to unlock solar's potential and deliver its benefits to all customers.
New Jersey's renewable portfolio standard (RPS) is one of the most aggressive in the United States and requires each electricity supplier/provider to provide 22.5% from renewable energy sources by 2021. In addition, 2.12% must come from solar electricity, an amount estimated to be 1,500 megawatts (MW).[5] Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) must be purchased by electricity suppliers to meet the state targets or else they face a fine known as a Solar Alternative Compliance Payment (SACP) that was $0.691/kWh in 2

The Biblical name Moab refers to an area of land located on the eastern side of the Jordan River. Some historians believe the city in Utah came to use this name because of William Pierce, the first postmaster, believing that the biblical Moab and this part of Utah were both "the far country".[4][5] However, others believe the name has Paiute origins, referring to the word "moapa" meaning mosquito.[6] Some of the area's early residents attempted to change the city's name because in the Christian Bible, Moabites are demeaned as incestuous and idolatrous. One petition in 1890 had 59 signatures and requested a name change to Vina.[7] Another effort attempted to change the name to Uvadalia.[6] Both attempts failed.
During the 1800s the area around what is now Moab served as the Colorado River crossing along the Old Spanish Trail. Mormon settlers attempted to establish a trading fort at the river crossing called "Elk Mountain Mission" in 1855 to trade with travelers attempting to cross the river. After repeated Indian attacks, the fort was abandoned in late 1855. A new round of settlers established a permanent settlement in 1878. Moab was incorporated as a town on December 20, 1902.[6]
In 1883 the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad main line was constructed across eastern Utah. The rail line did not pass through Moab, instead passing through the towns of Thompson Springs and Cisco, forty miles to the north.[8] Later, other places to cross the Colorado were constructed, such as Lee's Ferry, Navajo Bridge and Boulder Dam. These changes shifted the trade routes away from Moab. Moab farmers and merchants had to adapt from trading with passing travelers to shipping their goods to distant markets. Soon Moab's origins as one of the few natural crossings of the Colorado River were forgotten. Nevertheless, the U.S. military deemed the bridge over the Colorado River at Moab important enough to place it under guard as late as World War II.
Moab's economy was originally based on agriculture, but gradually shifted to mining. Uranium and vanadium were discovered in the area in the 1910s and 1920s. Potash and manganese came next, and then oil and gas were discovered. In the 1950s Moab became the so-called "Uranium Capital of the World" after geologist Charles Steen found a rich deposit of uranium ore south of the city.[6] This discovery coincided with the advent of the era of nuclear weapons and nuclear power in the United States, and Moab's boom years began.
The city population grew nearly 500% over the next few years, bringing the population to near 6,000 people. The explosion in population caused much construction of houses and schools. Charles Steen donated a great deal of money and land to create new houses and churches in Moab.[citation needed]

Cleveland's Great Lakes Science Center installed a 225 kW Vestas V27 wind turbine in 2006 on the city's harbor front between the Cleveland Brown's football stadium and the science museum. The V27 is no longer manufactured and this unit was bought used and then reconditioned. The Science Center has done an excellent job of installing the turbine to maximize its aesthetic appearance and the unit provides a dramatic visual attraction on the city's harbor front skyline. (Cleveland fronts onto the south shore of Lake Erie.)
Cleveland's urban wind turbine joins a limited number of such wind turbines in the Anglophone world: Wellington New Zealand's V27 overlooking Wellington Harbor, Toronto's WindShare turbine on Lake Ontario, and the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' Fuhrländer turbine in Boston. These are all real urban wind turbines--and they work.
Much talk surrounding "urban wind" deals with small, rooftop wind turbines. These urban turbines seldom perform as advertised.

Broody hen chickens how to undo broodiness stop sitting on eggs.

Broodiness is the action or behavioral tendency to sit on a clutch of eggs to incubate them, often requiring the non-expression of many other behaviors including feeding and drinking.[1] Being broody has been defined as "Being in a state of readiness to brood eggs that is characterized by cessation of laying and by marked changes in behavior and physiology".[2] Broody birds often pluck feathers from their chest and abdomen, using them to cover the eggs. As a consequence of this, they develop one or several patches of bare skin on the ventral surface. These reddish, well-vascularized areas of skin are usually called brood patches, and improve heat transfer to the eggs. Broodiness is usually associated with female birds, although males of some bird species become broody and some non-avian animals also show broodiness.
