If only 15% of urban dwellers want to move to lower-density areas, that’s 340,442 units (or homes) that are needed. This is if only 15% want to move, and that percentage is a low projection.
Work-from-home is skyrocketing. Remote work is more desirable now than it ever was before. Office space requirements are deteriorating. While this is negative, larger homes are going to be on higher demand. Kids will need privacy, parents will need offices in their homes, people will want home gyms, and multigenerational family living will expand.
