And sometimes he understands people way better than us.Few months ago, I was taking him to the daily walk in the same area of a small town. There were few old vintage shops along the way. One of the shops had a new owner, who was very proud of his new acquisition. It didn't look like anything fancy, but it was his shop. Jack didn't have any previous interest in that place, before the new owner. We passed by the store one day and Jack stopped to mark a tree. Few meters away from that shop. The owner busted out to shout at me: "THIS is not acceptable!". I nodded and passed by. I clean my dogs poo. I walk them with an endless supply of doggy bags and I am a responsible owner. Now the fact that a male marks a tree that is 10 meters away from an old building is not a huge offence in my view. Never mind. I decided it wasn't worth further attention.Jack had a different opinion, though.He was deeply offended. So, since that day, Jack stopped every damn single time, looked the new owner straight in the eyes and peed in front of his door. If the owner was not there, he waited. I did my best to prevent it from happening. But try to move a 60 kg mastiff if he's parked there. He didn't even use to pee without raising his leg before. Well, he made an exception for that guy. He was peeing like a girl dog. Right in front of the door. Two times per day. While staring at the guy. Just because he shouted at me.We ended up changing the walk area.
