Kerbal Space Program - Emulating SpaceX - Landing A Rocket On A Barge
I've been trying this on and off for a while, and finally, using InfiniteDice's Boat Parts & LazTek's Space X pack I have a launch from the space center and a landing at sea which emulates the real capabilities of Space-X's Falcon 9 launch vehicle. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9I55o8hQgs
I wanted to see whether it's possible to mount a successful crewed interplanetary mission without upgrading any of the buildings in KSP 0.90. This means a very limited parts selection & rocket size limit, and a map which does not display patched conics or allow maneuver nodes.

In response/as punishment for the occasional coments along the lines of 'are we there yet', 'i challenge you to get warp tech in 5 episodes' and 'this is taking too long'. I respond with a concentrated 20 minute episode of dedicated science gathering. And the unlocking of fusion technology, unfortunately in the next episode we'll be upgraded to 0.23.5 and some of my unlocked tech has been relocked....
Yes it's pretty dull, but hey, how about that re-entry at 6.25km/sec?
(also, the eagle eyed will notice I edited the order of events to make it not be 20 minutes of flying around the mun, that would be really dull).

Starscape originally dates from 2003, it was released on Steam a couple of years ago, but judging by the steam community not many people play this. And to be honest I hadn't played it much either, I'd acquired it as part of some bundle on Steam and after S.P.A.Z.&B.H. came out I never played this again. So, right away I'm going to say that in terms of graphics, audio and controls SPAZ beats this in every way, but there's a bit of a story in here, and maybe you find the game worthwhile because you like spaceship games with stories?

A new class of alien vessel appears in the skies, a massive ship which we decide deserves the designation of 'Carrier'. I hope it's carrying lots of loot.

Heat Signature is a game about illicitly boarding spaceships to steal things, capture or assassinate people and occasionally get knocked through a window into space. It's a fantastic little game that combines a pile of mechanics into a unique sci-fi take on the stealth/assault genre.
