strike anywhere match ban? vs diy Forster Tap O percussion Cap, vs re making 209 & large primers
drill a series of #3 (.213") holes in a hardwood paint stirring stick to hold primers & place the stick full of cups over a flat steel plate, pop out the anvils, clean them, flatten the firing pin dimple with a 1/8" pin punch , add your priming compound & use a .170 paper punch to cut out a "foil" to hold this in & use a 3/16" pin punch to press seat the anvils back in & after 12 hours drying you push the primers out of the stick & the primers can be loaded
optionally
add .3 grains of 4Fg powder into the cup & gently compress with the 3/16" punch glue this powder with a light coating of aerosol hairspray & let it Dry for about 15 minutes

the Forster 4 stirs Tap-O-Cap to make .21" OD metal #11/10 percussion caps, large pistol or rifle primers (.209?) using a set of punches for aluminum cans walls & was $30 now $50 or just DIY

you can re charge primers with
$20 , 2000 reload, 20 year shelf life, 4 part (prime all ) like a factory at a cent per reprime
vs
a 2 parts red phosphorus fuel, 5 parts potassium chlorate oxidizer
gum arabic binder water slurry of Armstrong's mixture
like
Maynard tape like toy pistol paper rolls placed red side up in the cups at
.1 grains per dot, from .025 grains of Armstrong's mixture in "some" 2015 caps
from 1200 shots per $3 pack, using 4 for 300 reloads at a cent per reprime
vs the .07 grains in "some" 1960s toy caps or 3 times better in the old days
or
3 reprimings from the whole tip of one "REAL" strike anywhere match of
sesquisulfide phosphorus tipped, red sulfur fuel, potassium chlorate oxidizer
till
2010 DOT shipping safety reg has mat charge per box & workplace bans in
Alaska, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey &
competing with 100 X more ignitions from a BIC lighter
BUT NOT meth or bomb laws
so
the strike on box safety match heads are a potassium chlorate oxidizer & require
a ground glass & red phosphorus lighting strips that can be bought loose as
Match Striker Paper Sheets

BUT new old stock REAL; UCO, Ohio Blue Tip, Diamond Greenlight & Penley strike
anywhere matches may still be sold for 1800 for $40 or 2 cents per 3 repriming
vs local walmart $18 for for 900 matches 50 per doller or 2 cents per 3 repriming
vs local Cabelas $2 for 250 matches per box at under a cent per 3 reprimings
vs local thrift store $5 for 900 matches per set at under a cent per 1.8 reprimings
with a warning about the (Potassium?) per-chlorate oxidizer tip ,, WARNING!
if it's mixed 50/50 with potassium nitrate you get Pyrodex black powder substitute,

DON'T MAKE DIY strike anywhere matches, ,, scrape or sand off all the phosphorus striking surface from the safety match box & Stir the Collected powder with a few drops of water, & then dip the safety match's
