Here’s how we have to plant trees around here. This is how we planted our crock screw willow tree, also known as a curly willow. We lay chicken wire in the bottom of the hole because gophers have eaten way too many tree roots. :( Willows are such useful trees, they are Edible to basically all livestock so you can use them for tree hay.
