No honest leader can do anything in the GTA chair: Gurkha Ekta Chalak Sangathan
The GJMM fraternity, Gorkha Ekta Chalak, has issued a press release at its central office in Darjeeling today stating that no honest leader can do anything even if he gets a seat in the GTA. The organization's president, Sagar Rai, said in a statement that Goramumo's founding president, Subhas Ghising, had filed a lawsuit in the high court in 2012, saying the GTA was an unconstitutional provision and should be scrapped. Giving priority to this, the current chairman Man Ghising has filed a case in the high court for the benefit of caste and soil. We would like to thank Goramumo Chairman Man Ghising on behalf of the Gorkha Ekta Chalak Sangathan for the second time. Questioning the GTA system, he said, "We are happy that the building being constructed on Tiger Hill for the convenience of tourists has not been completed till date but there is complete corruption due to non-construction." The GTA has only become a hotbed of corruption. It does not fulfill the aspirations of the people. We work hard day and night. People are against GTA but the Bengal government is forcibly imposing it. Our Gurkha brothers are also playing games on our future by following the GTA. The Gurkha Ekta Chalak Sangathan strongly opposes the GTA election and demands that there should be no GTA election and is hopeful that the High Court will hear the case on June 2, ”said Sagar Rai in a statement.
