In this video, we’re going to talk about what causes the tongue to change colors.

The color of your tongue can give you valuable information about what’s happening internally.

Here’s what your the color of your tongue could mean:

Bright red - This could be a folate or B12 deficiency. It could also be scarlet fever or Kawasaki disease.

Purple - This could mean for circulation.

Blue - This could mean you have decreased o2 levels or hypoxia.

White - This could mean you have an overgrowth of candida, fungus, or yeast.

Black - This could be caused by some medications, chewing tobacco, or radiation.

Orange - This could be caused by antibiotics.

Green - This may be a bacterial infection.

Yellow - This could also indicate a bacterial infection

Pink - A pink tongue in normal. This is a sign of a healthy tongue.
