Musically, it is most certainly a rockabilly record, however, influences of country, blues, surf music and punk can be found also. Suppose labels like "cowpunk" and "psychobilly" would fit best.
It begins with a soundscape containing a report over Buddy Holly and Richie Valens' death as well as a speech of Hank Snow's son Jimmy (a friend of Elvis, but he had already given up his music career at the time to become a pastor, he also was a heavy inspired for Kris Kristofferson).
Another interlude is the second to lsst track, sampling the intro of a Jay & the Americans song, while the songs are found in tracks 2-17 as well as 19!
The band is from Munich. A good bunch of the songs such as "Yakety Yak" (the Coasters), "Flatfoot Sam" (The Blues Band), "Tainted Love" ( Gloria Jones/Soft Cell), "Certainly All" (Guitar Slim), "Violent Love" (Dr. Feelgood) and last but not least "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" (The Clash) are covers, as you may have guessed.
