An Aspie, for example, won't store $1,000 of belongings in a storage unit that costs $200 per month. An Aspie also may opt to purchase a new car rather than a used car. That's because the Aspie knows a new car is really not that much more expensive when cost-per-mile is the criteria. An Aspie may believe the slight cost difference pays for itself in reliability. 2 Gracious Show gratitude. An Aspie may find himself/herself musing over the advancements of science and technology — particularly healthcare — and are keenly aware that we live at the apex of human civilization. 3 Fact-finding Google search was made for the Aspie mindset. Aspies tend to love facts. I've talking to Aspies who love to read novels, but they also spend hours reading Wikipedia articles. 4 Writing Aspies have a way with words because of their extensive vocabulary. 5 Stability Aspies tend to be consistent 6 Objectivity Problem solving comes natural to many Aspies. This is due to their honesty, unencumbered by confirmation bias. Temple Grandin, an Aspergian who wrote the book Thinking in Pictures, notoriously said, “The first thing an effective manager must do to take care of the animals is get rid of employees who are bullies.” 7 Listening Aspies don't talk much. That leaves listening and thinking. 8 Introspection A part of thinking is being in touch with themselves. Aspies don't over estimate their abilities. Researchers David Dunning and Justin Kruger revealed that smart people don't know how smart they are, apparently because they couple objectivity with introspection. People with low intelligence tend to overestimate their intelligence. 9 Organizing If you want your organization to run smoothly, put an Aspie in charge. 10 Accounting Keeping your ducks in a row is a idiom that expresses the knack for numbers, an area in which Aspies excel. 11 Dependable Aspies tend to be dependable and reliable because they live structured and organized lives. 12 Being centered Because Aspies evaluate most everything, they see the ups and downs, the good and the bad. They tend to live centered lives.
