Without a word, each face lets us escape their stories, their joys, their sorrows, their hope and despair...
Delivering a part of themselves, which words could not fully explain.
For this, we need to listen to them with our eyes and understand them with our heart.
Empathy is the only interpreter between us and these faces.
A pure moment of intimacy, from soul to soul, hearts to hearts, eye to eye, for a short silent moment...
But with thousands and one language.

Have you ever wonder what's the stories behind each person?
I met Benjamin in Trinity Bellwood park in Toronto, and he shared his stories with me.
Here's the stories of Benjamin King:
November 2008 due to the unfortunate death of my mother,
me and my sister decided to go back to Africa for her funeral.
when we arrive west Africa in Ghana, they forgot our luggage, so we have to go back to the airport the second day. On our way back to the airport, our dad’s brother’s car wasn’t working so we had to take a taxi. We went to a taxi and the driver was going overhead bridge, the last thing I remembered was the car crashed into a ditch.
So from there on, from what I was told, we were strip naked and they stole all of our belongings before they helped us and transferred us to the hospital.
I was in the hospital for about a week before my insurance was able to transfer me to France to do surgery. A spinal cord injury surgery which let me paralyzed from my neck down with only upper movement from my shoulder. And now I’m confine to a wheel chair. and I have to be driven and ally on personal support workers from my day to day living, activities.
When I first got injury I was in the rehab as another gentleman, over the course of years, I have been able to be comfortable enough for me to get out, had the courage to get out, and be as normal as possible. Going shopping, doing everything that I need to do like anybody else. But this gentleman because he does not feel comfortable, he doesn’t know how to properly receive them, he has been kept inside for the past ten years. And he’s afraid to leave, to go out to anywhere else because he just afraid the public and what is out there.
For me, people that are afraid of being judge, don’t let people’s perception of you become your reality,
simply because what ever they think of you, if you become what they think of you
you will never live a productive life.

I feel loved when people think about me for no reason
I feel loved when my bf grab my hand in his dreams
Hi my name is Yuliku.
I'm making one hundred films about eye language and anthropology to invite ordinary human beings in Toronto to share their feelings, emotions or unspoken thoughts only through their eyes. ?
Hopefully they can send a message to the world to show how powerful eye contacts could be.

Daria was crossing the bridge and I asked her if there's something she want to say with her eyes. And that's what she wanted to tell me.
Daria is from Belarus and she told me they share lots of culture with Ukraine and they feel very sad about the situations now in Ukraine and she's worried about people in Ukraine.

Ordinary people shared their emotions in Istanbul, Turkey.
Beautiful people in Istanbul, Turkey.
Do you have anything you want to tell a person or yourself?
Or anything you wish to talk about?
I make videos of people speaking with their eyes.
I make videos of people trying to say something, but they only talk with their eyes, not actually speaking with their mouth.
These are the things people shared with me in Istanbul Turkey.
And I want to share these personal moments and emotions with you.
This is a reminder that you don't have to be alone with any pain you might be feeling in life, because there are so many other people out there who are experiencing the same troubles that you yourself are going through.
The Library of Emotions" is a project where people can express the things, they've always wanted to say but never had the courage to do.
I allow them to express it with their eyes.

Thank you for all the beautiful people participated in this video.
