In this video I have shown you how to implement UIDatePicker in Swift. Implementing UIDatePicker is easier than UIPickerView, especially when you're writing the code in Swift.

Today's video I will be uncovering the things involved in making of DTube videos that you may not be able to see through those videos. I'm going through what's on my setup, including the hackintosh I'm using to edit, monitors, mouse, keyboard, speakers and more!

In this video we have allowed users of the app to edit the name of the cell. We added a segue from the cell to the view controller, and the data passes from one view controller to another. Then, when the user hits the save button, it updates the cell.
In the next video, we will be wrapping up the series, by saving the data in the .plist file. The next time the user launches the app it loads the data that they have left off.

This video we will set up and install the driver of this adapter, to enable a desktop with a faulty integrated network card connect to a Wifi network!
We will be unboxing USB-C to USB2.0 in the next video, then we will explain why MacBook Pro 128GB is useless for most people before moving on to the Gestures (Objective-C). I know that we've covered this in Episode 2 of CNY Objective-C Specials, but this will be more in-depth.

This video compares Objective-C and Swift, and which one you should learn. I used the front camera of my iPhone 6 (not 6s) and I could only export in 720p, but I've saved a lot of disk space, it's only 89MB 4-minute 720p (exported in Final Cut Pro) compared to 90MB 1-minute 720p trailer (my first video!). It also took me only 1-minute to export this 4-minute 720p video. It's amazing!
The small file size also make uploading faster, making me able to upload multiple videos per day, which also making me faster to replace the days without videos, because I was very busy!

Today I've unboxed lightning equipment, which is Neewer CN-160, which I'm going to use in my future videos. It just cost only $30 on Amazon, but it is very bright, and it is DSLR or tripod mounted equipment. That's why I bought 3 tripods. This will be the best budget lightning equipment for YouTube videos.

In this video, we compare how Final Cut Pro X exports against iMovie. And it also shows that Final Cut Pro exports much faster than the iMovie. I export this 14 minute 1080p video in 15 minutes! (normally 50 minute for FCPX 1080p, 1.7 hours on iMovie 1080p).
This video is part of the Final Cut Pro challenge.

In the following 30 days, The Xcoder will try out a commercial video editing software: Final Cut Pro. This is the cheapest commercial video editing softwares in the market, costing only $299.99. It has more functions, and looks more professional. It also exports my video faster than I did in iMovie and it does rendering in the background. iMovie does it immediately when I hit the export button, then when it finishes, it will only export the video out.
It only took me 2 hours to export this 26 minute 4K video using Final Cut Pro, and it usually take 3.8 hours to export using iMovie. That is 40% lesser time in Final Cut Pro!

This video is about an hour of Swift Code, this video is an hour long, and you have 8 minutes to pause this video and type the code out. I've worked on the Swift Playground on the first half hour, talking about maths calculations, arrays, loops, strings, variables etc.
The second half hour I've showed you how to create a Swift iOS app, about Sending Data, again, but it looks more professional.
This way you will learn Swift Programming language faster, instead of following all my short videos, that will take even more time. But in this one hour, you will learn a lot of things related to Swift Programming, and you're ready to follow my more advanced Swift tutorials.
