Op het Europees Kampioenschap Kata is voor het eerst aangepast judo onderdeel. Inclusion op en top!!!
De allereerste 4 Nederlandse A-judo katakoppels zijn er klaar voor om geschiedenis te schrijven. In 2019 hebben Sanne en Thomas, beiden judoka's met syndroom van Down, bewezen tijdens een demonstratie op het EK Kata, dat A judo op hoog niveau gedaan kan worden en een meerwaarde voor de sport is. Nu, na twee jaar Corona, is het eindelijk zover. Het is een officieel onderdeel geworden op het EK. Een droom voor aangepast sporten wordt werkelijkheid.
We hebben nog 4000 euro nodig om deze droom waar te maken, want deelnemen aan een EK is een dure bezigheid: Reizen, hotels, eten en voor A-judoka: begeleiding.
