Pushing myself too hard, not getting enough sleep and trying to keep customers happy.
Fell asleep on a long distance drive, tried to take control of vehicle so as not to destroy a farmers fence and hit a hidden drain instead.
Every panel on the van was destroyed, every wheel broken, contents of van spread over a large distance.
The windscreen and side mirrors and the driver untouched by some miracle.
It only took less than 25 seconds rolling over and over six times until coming to a stop some 200 metres away from the drain impact. Damage was in excess of $25,000.
A camper van with a new engine (5,000 Kms) new gearbox, new stater motor, new fuel injector pump and new batteries. Fully fitted out with hot and cold running water, solar power, microwave and kitchen facilities, could sleep two people comfy. All destroyed through falling asleep while driving.
If tired stop and have a good rest, it is not worth it to try and save a few minutes or even a few hours and end up like this. I feel very lucky that I was able to walk away with just a few bruises and a financial loss.

Short video to show how a difficult job of cutting silkscreen mesh that is 100% nylon, mono-filament cloth by hand is easy to do and very accurate with a laser machine.
The machine has been slowed down so that the cutting can be seen clearly, the video is in real time.

A demonstration of using a new oxyhydrogen torch designed for jewellery work, however I have been using it for many jobs around the workshop that I would usually need a bottled gas type torch. The torch comes with its own stand, and 5 nozzles. All is presented in a nice gift box with a magnetic catch.
For doing small work as in jewellery, it is absolutely marvellous, but even larger jobs as shown in the video show what it can really do.

Another happy customer. Yesterday we fitted a 4Nx4 cell and complete system to a 2.8 litre diesel. Today we took it for a long run of 260 kms to test it out. The customer couldn't believe the difference to his vehicle, his comments were "The fuel gauge is stuck....", "It's running much quieter, the ticking noise has gone...", It's got more power and is smoother..", "I can't wait to tell the wife how good this is..."
When we got back to our hometown, my customer went to see as many friends as he could find to tell and show them his new fuel addition to his vehicle, I think I am going to be busy for the next few months.

This material is polyester mono filament mesh. We changed from nylon because we have started using titanium plates for the cathodes.
That means we can no longer use KOH as it affects the titanium, so now we use sodium hydroxide. Polyester works better with sodium hydroxide, so we changed the membranes also.

Some of my clients have vehicles that travel long distances, and the filling of the hho or separator cell systems was a constant worry.
To overcome this problem, an automatic filler was built that would keep the system filled with distilled water as it were needed.
To overcome fluctuations of levels, time delays are incorporated in the circuit.
Just three stainless steel wires form the sensors, two are used to determine the upper and lower levels and the third one is a common (could also be the tank if made of metal)
The circuit uses a high powered mosfet instead of a relay, so there are no moving parts. The pump can be a windscreen washer pump, as it will only be on for a few seconds during a long trip.
The video shows the water as blue, this is so it is easier to see. Gravity is used in the demonstration to simulate the water being used over a long period of time, and this way you are able to see the action of the auto pump circuit in action.

Just a short video of the microprocessor controller - under bonnet version.
The new microprocessor makes installing the electronics for the separator cell so easy.
Just 10-15 minutes and it is all done.
This video shows the electronics only, the cell and tanks will be mounted as soon as I can get around to it. This model is for under the bonnet. The dash model has the LEDs on the front panel and also has a sound system so that you can get warnings if the cell is off due to low water or some other reason such as overheating (usually due to low water)
The timing cycle actually goes for 30 seconds, but as I had already switched the system on the cycle seemed short by the time I had removed the lid on the box.
At the end of the 30 second timing cycle, the green LED switches on and so does the solidstate relay that provides the power to the cell.
Eight programs within the microprocessor control the on and off periods per second of the power supplied to the cell. The control box has a thermal sensor that is attached to the cell to let the microprocessor know what the temperature is of the cell at any time.
One of the eight temperature programs will be active depending on the feedback from the cell. If for any reason the cell reaches a temperature that is considered too high, the system will shut down automatically until a working temperature has been reached. The cycle will then continue until the engine has been switched off.

This is our new system that uses a micro processor to control the power supplied to the cell.
Feedback from the cell sends the temperature reading to the micro processor and the micro processor has 8 programs built inside it that controls the on off periods per second of the power sent to the cell. As the temperature rises the off period is a little longer. This allows the cell to stabilize to a working temperature and at the same time is giving strong DC pulses to the cell many times per second.
The installation is very easy and straight forward, no heavy wires need go to the dash area, keeping the wiring very short and simple.
The cell can also be made smaller and more compact, saving in material cost, time of building and also the space required to fit the cell.
More videos will be added as we continue with the testings.
