However, the title is a misnomer, since Bastok is a republic and Windurst a federation. San d'Oria is the only true kingdom. But whatever. In the Consulate of Windurst, Heorot talks to Consul Patt-Pott at I-7. A cutscene takes place. After some complaints, Patt-Pott tells Heorot to get his task from Pius in the President's Office. This begins the sub-mission "The Three Kingdoms (Bastok)".
In the President's Office, Heorot enters the Department of Industry and talks to Pius at J-8. Pius sends him to talk to Grohm at the Craftsmen's Eatery in the Metalworks.
In the Craftsmen's Eatery, Heorot talks to Grohm at H-9. Heorot will have to refine some ore in the Palborough Mines. First, he must get a Chunk of Mine Gravel. Second, he must place the Mine Gravel into the upper part of the refiner. Third, he must take the Onz of Mythril Sand from the lower part of the refiner. Previously, Heorot continued training as Ranger in Valkurm Dunes and Rolanberry Fields and reached Level 30. Now, he will continue his Ranger training in Rolanberry Fields and then move on to Yhoator Jungle.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he gets gil for a stack of Lightning Crystals that sold on the auction house. He also takes out the Aketon that did not sell. He exits to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 0:56):
At the auction house, Heorot puts the Aketon back up for sale. He also gets Crying Wind, I.M., by the gate to recharge his Chariot Band. When he is ready to go, he uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Rolanberry Fields, Derfland.
Rolanberry Fields (time 2:30):
Last time, Heorot undertook the Page 4 individual training to defeat 6 Berry Grubs and 2 members of the Quadav family per training regime. He now continues this training.
Eventually, Heorot reaches Level 35 as Ranger.
When he has finished in Rolanberry, he uses the Survival Guide at G-6 to teleport to Rabao, Kuzotz.
Rabao (time 38:49):
At F-6, Heorot visits Shiny Teeth, who runs the weapon shop. First, he sells off some loot. Then, he stocks up on Iron Arrows and also picks up a Composite Bow, a Level 36 bow.
Afterwards, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at G-11 to teleport to Yhoator Jungle, Elshimo Uplands.
Yhoator Jungle (time 43:00):
Heorot arrives at the Outpost at I-8. He rides to the Field Manual at F-7. With it, he starts the Page 1 individual training to defeat 3 White Lizards and 6 members of the Goblin family per training regime. He sets out to defeat these enemies.
Upon reaching Level 36, he equips his new Composite Bow. He equips a Mythril Axe at Level 37.
Heorot soon reaches Level 38 as Ranger. He equips some better armor pieces that he has lying around.
Heorot rides back to the Outpost at I-8. He uses the Survival Guide to teleport back to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:01:28):
Heorot visit Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables to sell off some loot. Then, he heads to the residential area.
Mog House (time 1:03:18):
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will continue training as Ranger.

Previously, the party continued visiting World Intel sites in Southern Corel in the Corel Region. They visited the "Phenomenon Intel 1: Modular Reactor 1" site just southeast of the Dustbowl. After seeking Cactuar Rock I, they entered Modular Reactor 1 and met Kid G, custodian of the Cactuars' treasure. Yuffie participated in the Cactuar Crush minigame, and the party earned Treasure of the Sands Fragment α. The party also visited the "Phenomenon Intel 2: Modular Reactor 2" site a little farther southeast. After a similar hassle, Aerith participated in Cactuar Crush, and the party earned Treasure of the Sands Fragment β. Kid G wants time to prepare the next round of this nonsense, so now the party will work on a couple Corel Region side quests. One starts back in Costa del Sol.

Previously, Heorot continued the Wings of the Goddess storyline. He carried out Wings of the Goddess Mission 36: "Fall of the Hawk" and Mission 37: "Darkness Descends". Some unfortunate stuff happened in Castle Zvahl. He is now on Mission 38: "Adieu, Lilisette". Before he can continue, he must carry out the last two Crystal War quests in his chosen nation, Bastok.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in present-day Bastok. In his delivery box, he gets back an Oxblood Orb that did not sell on the auction house. Then, he heads outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:23):
At the auction house, Heorot puts the Oxblood Orb back up for sale, along with a Gargouille Shank. Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets [S] in the Gustaberg Front.
Bastok Markets [S] (time 2:47):
Heorot talks to Gentle Tiger at H-6/H-7. This triggers a scene with the Mythril Musketeers.
Bastok's twelfth Crystal War quest, "The Truth Lies Hid", begins. Time to head north to Castle Zvahl. Note that you will need an Elixir to proceed.
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at G-4 to teleport to Castle Zvahl Baileys [S], Valdeaunia Front.
Castle Zvahl Baileys [S] (time 8:22):
As Heorot arrives in Castle Zvahl Baileys [S], a cutscene with the Mythril Musketeers takes place. Heorot will have to seek information from three Imps in the Castle Zvahl Keep [S].
After the scene, Heorot gains control at the Survival Guide at J-8 on the first map. He makes his way through the haunted halls of the Baileys.
At F-8 on the second map, he exits west to the Castle Zvahl Keep [S].
Castle Zvahl Keep [S] (time 20:48):
Heorot arrives at I-8 on the first map.
There are three Imp NPCs to talk to on this floor: Rikke at G-7 in the northwest, Rakke at G-10 in the southwest, and Rokke at H-10 in the southeast. Each asks for an Elixir in exchange for information. However, only one of the Imps is honest. Before deciding who should receive the Elixir, Heorot must figure out who is telling the truth.
Note that their statements vary. In this case, Rikke at G-7 says that the Imp in the southeast, Rokke, is a liar. On the other hand, Rakke at G-10 says that Rokke is honest. Finally, Rokke says that Rikke at G-7 in the northwest is a liar. From this information, Heorot concludes that Rikke is the honest one.
So, Heorot trades the Elixir to Rikke at G-7. Rikke provides some pertinent info.
Afterwards, Heorot makes his way to the third map, the area with the teleporter network. When he reaches G-9 in the southwest, he examines the ???. This triggers a cutscene.

We are currently grinding in previous tales in preparation for The Crystals. Previously, in Palom's Tale, Palom reached Level 47, and Leonora reached Level 47. Now, they will check out the King's Bounty Pub in Troia. Then, we will take our grinding to Edge's Tale.
Palom's Tale: Overworld:
Palom and Leonora resumes outside the town of Troia. They enter town.
Troia (time 0:16):
The party enters the pub. They purchase a Member's Writ from the woman at the table closest to the entrance for 2,500 gil. They present it to the man in green, who opens the secret door. Despite Leonora's protests, the party proceeds through the secret passage.
They go downstairs to the King's Bounty Pub. They view the show, which ... leaves something to be desired. Note that this show will leave Palom with 1 HP.
After this show, the party can go to the dressing room via the northeast door. The chest contains a Lustful Lali-ho. If you want to keep this item, do not show it to Leonora! She will confiscate it if you do.
The party talks to the woman in the dressing room. They pick up the Member's Card for 5,000 gil.
When they have the Member's Card, they can talk to the eastern man in green. He will open a passage to the next room!
The second stage is the Emperor. They view the show here, which is a considerable improvement over the previous show. However, one party member is left out.
After the show, there will be two dressing room doors open. In the western dressing room, a dancer sells the VIP Pass for 10,000 gil. The passes were a lot more expensive in the 2D versions, which is why I saved up so much money.
In the eastern dressing room, one dancer sells the Queen's Tights, Queen's Mask, and Queen's Gloves. The other sells the Queen's Whip. This is gear that Leonora can use.
At the eastern counter south of the stage, the man in green will open up another passage if the party talks to him with the VIP Pass.
The party continues on to the Queen's Bounty Pub. They talk to Namingway at the door and go in for the show. What a show it is.
After the performance, the party can check out the dressing rooms, as usual. In the lobby, the party finds a chest with a Black Tail.
The party leaves Troia.

The party saves. Then, we return to the title.

Previously, the party began the Pukret Village substory and carried out Quests 099 - 101. Now, they will wrap up the quest line and then carry out a quest that is a prerequisite to the Gartland substory.
Pukret Village (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Pukret Village.
The party enters the Village Chief's House at F-4/G-4 and talks to Village Chief Puklay. Puklay issues Quest 102: "Exciting Exhibition ♪", the fourth Pukret Village substory quest. The first objective is to talk to Puproi in her cabin in the southwest of the Pukret Region.
The party exits north at D-1 to the Pukret Region.
Pukret Region (time 4:50):
The party enters Puproi's Cabin at C-7. They talk to Puproi within. The next objective is to defeat 10 Caped Caperers in the Peshya Underground Caverns in the Popora Region to learn the Enjoy Dance party trick.
The party leaves Puproi's Cabin and then Zooms to the Sage's Lair in the Popora Region.
Popora Region (time 6:12):
The party arrives outside the Sage's Lair at G-5/G-6.
In the south, they enter the Peshya Underground Caverns (ペシュヤ地下空洞) at F-7.
Peshya Underground Caverns (time 7:32):
The party starts at A-4 in the west. As they explore the dungeon, they also hunt Caped Caperers (グリゴンダンス).
After the party has defeated all 10 Caped Caperers, a scene takes place. Heorot learns the Enjoy Dance (エンジョイダンス) party trick. The next objective is to report to Village Chief Puklay.
In the northeastern room, a black chest at E-2 contains a piece of Magic Beast Hide (まじゅうの皮).
The party Evacs out of the dungeon.
Popora Region (time 16:02):
The party Zooms to Pukret Village.
Pukret Village (time 16:16):
In the Village Chief's House at F-4/G-4, the party reports to Village Chief Puklay. A cutscene sequence takes place, featuring an exhibition at the village theater. Heorot agrees to perform the Enjoy Dance. The next objective is to talk to Puklay again to conclude the quest.
The party regains control in the Village Chief's House. They report to Chief Puklay. Quest 102 complete! The party earns 2 Gold Nuggets (ゴールドストーン).
Afterwards, the party talks to Village Chief Puklay in the Village Chief's House again. Puklay issues Quest 103: "Fiery Final Battle", the fifth Pukret Village substory quest. The first objective is to talk to the shopkeeper at the village's item shop.
At D-2/E-2, the party talks to Porina, the item shopkeeper. The next destination is the Sage's Lair, where they must defeat Orobases to acquire the Puku-marked Lotion.
The party Zooms to the Sage's Lair in the Popora Region.
Popora Region (time 22:26):
The party enters the Sage's Lair (賢者の隠れ家) at G-6.
Sage's Lair (time 22:47):
The party starts in Eidos's chamber at C-6. Just to the southwest, they examine the barrier to enter the dungeon proper.
The party explores the dungeon. At B-6 west of Eidos's chamber, a red chest contains an Evac-U-Bell (おもいでのすず).
At C-7, a black chest contains an Ethereal Stone (げんませき).
At B-2 in the northwest, a black chest contains 3 chunks of Platinum Ore (プラチナこうせき).
The party hunts the Orobases (バルバロッサ) in the eastern part of the dungeon. After they have defeated a few, they obtain the Puku-marked Lotion (プク印のぬり薬) key item. The next objective is to deliver this to Village Chief Puklay.
At H-4, a black chest contains an Yggdrasil Leaf (せかいじゅの葉).
At E-6, a black chest contains 740 gold.
The room at E-6 is open to the sky, so the party Zooms out to Pukret Village.
Pukret Village (time 35:56):
In the Village Chief's House at F-4/G-4, the party reports to Village Chief Puklay and hands over the Puku-marked Lotion. Quest 103 complete! The party earns a Purple Orb (パープルオーブ).
A cutscene takes place at the village theater. Heorot must judge the performance of the remaining two acts. Interesting stuff. Afterwards, Heorot must select the winner of the contest. He chooses old man Hoppup. An epilogue closes out the Pukret Village substory.
When the party regains control, the player earns the accolade "Entertainment Grand Prix Honorary Judge" (演芸GP名誉審査員).
The party Zooms to Gartland Castle Town.
Gartland (time 45:27):
There is a prerequisite quest to the Gartland substory. The party will work on that now.
In the south, the party enters Gartland Castle at D-8/E-8.

The party resumes at the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region.
They skip travel to the King-Kings grave in the Demihuman Gutter, the innermost chamber of the Rebellion Cave in the southeast of the Erythia Sea. They continue hunting monsters to rank up their classes.
Noah masters the Yumsmith class. He changes his class to Flash Fencer. Sena masters the War Medic class. She changes her class to Troubadour.
Lanz masters the Lapidarist class. He has now mastered all the game's classes, aside from the starting classes. He changes his class to War Medic.

When the party liberates the Ether Sphere, they harvest more HD Ether for Ino.
Sena masters the Troubadour class. She changes her class to Lifesage.
When the party has finished grinding for now, they skip travel back to the Vinisog Holm Camp. They cook more Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty. Then, they rest and save.
Next time, the party will continue grinding in the Demihuman Gutter.

Previously, the party explored the southern part of the Rhone Forest. Then, they ventured east to the Seredot Mountain Road. They reached the Town of Seredo. All the residents seem to be children, including Lizelotta, the "Queen". However, she has a curious satyr servant named Muccino. After exploring the town, the party met Bosch, a guard in front of the Hilltop Church in the northeast. They carried out his mission and acquired a Dragon Tail. Then, they entered the church for a scene with Lizelotta in the sanctuary. Now, they will continue the Seredo storyline and go to the Tea Room upstairs in the Hilltop Church.
Seredo (time 0:29):
The party resumes in front of the collapsed church in the north of the Town of Seredo.
In the northeast of town, they enter the Hilltop Church at G-2. On floor 1F, Miraka at E-5 has story info.
The party takes the stairway at E-6/F-6 up to floor 2F. As they arrive, a scene with Lizelotta, Muccino, and several of the young residents takes place in the Tea Room. It looks like poor Fura is not allowed to partake. Poor Muccino is run off his feet by the demanding tots. A priestly boy named Firo shows up; his motives and attitude are different from the other kids'. The next objective is to meet Lizelotta in a neighboring room.
The party gains control in the Tea Room on floor 2F of the Hilltop Church.
At E-6, Fekt in the southwest of the Tea Room has story info.
At E-5, a barrel has 5 braces of Buzzberries (レッドベリー). At F-2, wardrobes contain a Quick Cake (クイックケーキ) and a Gorgeous Cookie (ゴージャスクッキー). At H-3, a barrel contains a Wakerobin (めざめの花).
The stairway at F-7 returns the party to floor 1F. At B-6 in the southwest, Firo has story info. He refers to Lizelotta as Liz.
The party returns to floor 2F and enters Lizelotta's room in the west. At B-5/B-6, a wardrobe contains a Scholar's Robe Top (インテリローブ上). A wardrobe at B-5 contains Mini Medal #160, counting the 61 Heorot has exchanged so far. A red chest at C-4/C-5 at the foot of the bed contains a Venus' Tear (ビーナスのなみだ). This accessory reduces lightning and wind damage. Heorot equips it.
The door to the northwestern room is currently locked. Bookcases at D-6/E-6 contain copies of "The Sealed Genie" and "Character Dictation".
The party talks to Lizelotta at D-4/E-4. They agree to hear her plan. She provides some background on the situation in Seredo. The party's next objective is to leave the church.
The party gains control outside Lizelotte's room after the scene. The door to Lizelotta's room is locked.
On floor 1F, Lizelotta's number 1 bodyguard, Mizar at G-4, has story info.
The party takes the door at B-4/B-5. Outside, a scene with Lizelotta and the other kiddos takes place. Lizelotta and her guard leave town, despite Firo's objections. Firo asks the party to help him pursue Lizelotta to Rinja Tower on the Rinjahal Coast north of town. Of course, the party agrees. The Rinjahal Coast is accessed by the northwestern exit from the Seredot Mountain Road. Firo joins the party as a guest. He participates in battle as a Priest.
The party gains control outside the Hilltop Church in the northeast of town. They cannot reenter the church at this time.
At E-6, Mashid has story info.
At E-7, the party exits south to the Seredot Mountain Road.
Seredot Mountain Road (time 24:43):
The party makes their way to the northwest from Seredo.
They pass through a narrow tunnel at C-5. Prior to fighting enemies, they use a Double Bubble and a Metal Perfume. The Testudogres (オーガキング) in the narrow tunnels are hard to avoid fighting.
After emerging at C-4/C-5, the party continues northwest. They enter another narrow tunnel at B-4. There are more hard-to-avoid Testudogres here.
Mjoll reaches Level 73. She earns 10 skill points for a total of 32. Daston reaches Level 73. He earns 11 skill points for a total of 33. Raguas reaches Level 73. He earns 10 skill points for a total of 32. Hussar reaches Level 73. He earns 10 skill points for a total of 32. Fura reaches Level 73. She earns 10 skill points for a total of 32.
Continuing north, the party emerges at B-3 in the northwestern part of the zone.
On a ledge at C-3, a red chest contains a Yellow Orb (イエローオーブ). It must be reached by dropping from a ledge above on the eastern side.
In the northwest, the party exits at B-2 to the Rinjahal Coast (リンジャハル海岸).

Previously, Davilas wrapped up the prerequisites for starting the Version 6.3 storyline. He carried out Quest 707: "Promised Homecoming" and brought his brother, Talint, home to New Eteene Village from the Demon World. It would be nice if Talint would join him on his future adventures, though. Davilas also carried out Quest 452: "A Big Smiley Adventure" and took Talint's smiley flower, Niko-chan, on a little tour of Nadragand. Afterwards, he returned to Talint for a little scene.
Now, Davilas will begin the Version 6.3 storyline, "The Tale of the Rise of the Moon with the Evil Eye". The following prerequisites must be met:
* Quest 017: "To Buy a Stuffed Animal" in Gartland
* The Gartland substory quest line "The Fang of Gazbaran" (Quests 211-215)
* Quest 684: "Memory of Light" in Finetka
* Quest 685: "Radiant Garden" in the Demon King's Castle and Jadin Garden
* Quest 707: "Promised Homecoming" in Jadin Garden and New Eteene Village
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan Housing Area on Eltona, the Elf continent. He is currently a Level 124 Minstrel. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!
Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to Zoom to the Heavenly Shrine in the Folion Heavenly Temple, Divine Capital Folion.

Davilas arrives on floor 1F of the Heavenly Shrine. At E-5, Shutron has story info.
On floor 2F, Davilas takes the door at D-3/E-3 to the Celestrian Chief's Room. Within, he talks to Kantis at D-2/E-2 for a scene that starts the Version 6.3 story. Fedira, Crutos, and Yuraiza arrive for a meeting. Davilas agrees to lend his power to help with the latest crisis. In the wake of the battle with Jia Lumina, Archangel Mitlar was wounded and fell. Reportedly, she washed up at the Choppi Wilderness on Pukland. Davilas and Yuraiza must go search for her in that area.
Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to return to Astoltia.
New Eteene Village (time 9:57):
Davilas Zooms to the Wilderness Resting Place destination in the Choppi Wilderness.
Choppi Wilderness (time 10:21):
Davilas arrives at the Wilderness Resting Place. In review, I notice that Porpupo in the camp has story info, but I did not talk to that individual.
North of the camp, a black chest at D-5 contains 3 clumps of Glimmergrass (かがやきそう).
Atop the wall on the east side of the Wildrness Resting Place, a path leads north and into a cave. Within, there is a gate at D-4, but the bouncer nearby will not let Davilas go through.
At D-4, Davilas talks to Puyang, the bouncer. After Davilas responds "Yes", he will eventually receive a list of four responses. He must select the option "Glare" (にらみつける) to proceed. Eventually, Puyang lets Davilas and Yuraiza enter the Magic Cave Alamand (魔窟アラモンド).
Magic Cave Alamand (time 13:37):
Davilas declines the option to reset his spawn point to Alamand from Finetka.
A cutscene introduces Magic Cave Alamand. This looks like Pukland's den of scum and villainy. The greeting committee is less polite than usual. Yuraiza takes exception with one individual in particular. Afterwards, she finds something. Davilas obtains the Angel Feather (天使の羽根) key item. Could Mitlar be here? The next objective is to gather information from the residents.
Davilas gains control at D-6 on floor 1F of the area. At E-5, Pechapo has story info.
The first resident that he must interview is Poponta at E-5 in the central area. The next is Pip at D-4. The third is Petunia at C-6 in the Rogue's Bar in the west.
Yuraiza sums things up after Davilas has talked to all three NPCs. The next objective is to go upstairs to floor 2F, where the Emperor's Stronghold is.
At E-5, Pechapo has story info.
At F-5 in the east, Davilas visits Pippel, the item shop merchant. He stocks up on Treasure Hunt Bells, which mark the locations of treasure chests on the map.
At F-4 in the northeast of the main room, a black chest contains a Gold Bar (きんかい).
In a passage at C-2, a black chest contains a clump of Twilight Moss (たそがれゴケ).
Davilas takes the stairs at C-5 up to floor 2F. In the east, he approaches the drawbridge at F-5 for a cutscene. The nearby thug, Arapukre, will not lower the drawbridge for him and Yuraiza to pass to the Emperor's Stronghold. Davilas must become a VIP first. Hm, Pip on the first floor was talking about VIPs.
