Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie - Rean Act 2 Museum Basement
This is the first optional segment I've seen where we get to encounter a few enemies and even get some loot for our trouble. It isn't too difficult and I like to think every bit helps, so it is probably worth doing. Supposedly, RP is extremely easy to come by in the game and behaves differently than the rest of the series, so this can be skipped if it is inconvenient for some reason. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMdBSOf3OqU
The highlight of this video is acquiring the firework, as that is one of the 5 items needed to beat the game. Your clue on this comes from the tablet you get from Tao (yes, the dog), which is partially destroyed. You need to translate it with Hager to get some information, then you can decode it to get the sequence you see here. I will show the translated tablet near the end of the playthrough.
Otherwise, we get the Dream Alien which unlocks the Cave Guy shop, where we will get the Octopus item that warps us to the last place we slept. Extremely handy for exploring the desert, and you will see me use these periodically throughout the remainder of the playthrough. Luckily, they are fairly cheap too.
Lastly, we also fish the whale soul out of the fishing hole, which allows you to do a few other quests. We can meet Umi, which unlocks everything Eco Club related, allows the scavenger hunt to be completed, and acquire some additional love. However, we will not be doing that in this video as there is still something we need to get, plus the fact that she is only available on Sunday. Stay tuned...

This is just a two man team video where Blue and I go to town on some unlucky saps. The strategy here was to try to use Slowbro's CC to hold them down so he can get some kills and start snowballing. As simple as it is, I won't spoil whether or not this is one of the games that goes off the rails...

Crow finally takes to the field, and it is an annoying fight. You cannot end this until a certain amount of dialogue has passed, so even if you drop him to 0, he will linger. I am able to shred the minions he starts with fairly easily while chipping away at him, but his reinforcements can't really be stopped. You will need to have him close to defeat by that point so you can resurrect something and deal the final blow. Remember that the Maray cannot be hit by a melee attack, but unlike the Sunrider, it has no shields to deal with their lasers. You must evade, or things will get ugly fast.

The time has come for us to fight against both Max and Kanbei. The only good part here is that Max's indirects suck, and there are bottlenecks. Otherwise, there is more than enough mountain terrain for his infantry to hop, so it is going to be a slugfest.
My CO of choice here was Sami as any unit that can clear the mountains becomes an immense threat for the enemy with Victory March. You can see here that after I pop it the first time, I seize a large portion of territory that they simply cannot take back. Kanbei reclaims some territory after the second one at immense cost, but that is pretty much it for him. If either of them had a HQ for me to exploit, this could be even easier, but they decided to do something unique for this map where the enemy must be routed.
In the end, I do have some heavy infantry losses as my score suggests, but this is one of the easier ways to clear the map. I don't really want to spend the time to figure out how to manipulate the AI to get the perfect. Basically, with the end in sight, I want to go full speed ahead and bring this game to a close.

Four ranked games here, with a different Pokemon in each. I have using all of my attackers here, but we do have a support game as Wigglytuff. I won't spoil the outcome on this one, but some people may see it coming based off of what I have been saying recently.

I've not been trying to advertise this yet for anyone who was following behind with the older videos, but I imagine most of the consistent viewers are already aware, so I will start mentioning Master in the title.
As for the two ranked games here, the release of Mamoswine has given new life to Snorlax. Blastoise had so much dis-engage that it made Snorlax's life miserable, but since Mamo can do some work on Blastoise, we have a triangle forming on which beats which. Blastoise has range and dis-engage, Mamo has a lot of defense and hard engage, while Snorlax is a medium between the two, with the ability to counter Mamo's engage unless he ults. If Mamo is going to be a spot of prominence for weeks to come, I will be falling back on an old staple.
As for Gardevoir, the most important thing in this video is a spoiler of sorts: how to win game while losing Zapdos. The key to this is that we had the lead prior to the fight, so I just had to focus my spells on the guys with points and deny them from scoring. Sometimes this is not always possible, but seeing as they had most of their big stuff on CD, I had an opportunity to get two of them off the map when they were needed most. From there, it is just putting up that final defense to make sure that they can't close the remainder of the distance.

We need to explore some new areas here in order to find some of the missing pieces allowing us to see the bigger picture. Unfortunately, some people are less cooperative than others, and we even have an entire area that becomes cursed at night. However, with enough tenacity, we are able to get the answers we need and even exorcise one of Kashima's victims that appears to have been lurking for years.
Additionally, all of the souls/teeth will be located by now in this video, so in the next one, we will be gearing up for the finale.

The final missions in the game are all exterminations. Sadly, they go down so fast, I just don't see the point in trying to separate these into different videos as even all combined they don't break the 20 minute mark without including the final report. In the fights up until now, we've demonstrated more than enough firepower to make very short work of these, so if you were able to win the fights you weren't supposed to, this should be a piece of cake for you.

We were unable to clear the stratum in the normal storyline, but anything goes here, so we will completely conquer this stratum and all of the ones to come. After this video, I change the way I record things, so it will be a little smoother to edit. The downside is that there will not really be any surprise factor. Basically, I am going to do what I did way back in Citizens of Earth where I clear a screen off camera and then loot it on camera. While there are more pieces to handle, it is actually less than normal and speeds up the process considerably.
