PJ IKEMEN GO Special: IKEMEN GO 0.97 120fps (No Interframing) Test Match
Recommended Resolution: 720p
I finally got up off my ass to upgrade to 0.97 (from 0.96.1, no less), and it has the ability to mess with the frame rate (for real this time). So, I've decided to put out a 120fps match, but there were a bit of hiccups I've noticed when I set it up that way.
Before I tell you about the hiccups, here are the settings you want to use. Best results if you actually have a 120Hz or higher monitor:
"GameSpeed": 50,
"Framerate": 120,
Anyways, here are the things you will notice:
1. All animations of the screenpack you use, if any, will play at double speed.
2. Round X and Fight animations from lifebars will continue to play at normal speed while every other lifebar animation will play at double speed.
3. You may notice that the character select screen may be capped at 60fps, but I suspect in my case, I have tiled elements moving at breakneck speeds even in normal speeds, which might be the reason for the 60fps cap there.
Anyways, I play the same match twice: the first time in normal speed and the last time in 50% speed. The match was, as the title of the video suggests, recorded at 120fps. Enjoy.

It's actually been some time since I even uploaded a 5K video (though when I last checked, it was pointless since they all get downscaled to 4K nowadays....?)
Anyways, I go to http://gbatemp.net and the first thing I find is an article stating that online play is coming to Citra Nightly and Canary, under the condition that the Citra/Yuzu developers get the legal advice they seek first (which, IMO is a bad idea considering Nintendo nowadays.....), but there is already a fork that implements it, so I downloaded it, followed most of their instructions for setup (I already have aes_keys from my actual New 3DS XL, so that wasn't necessary), confirmed that I can access my friend list, and tried out Mario Kart 7 online. Worked like a charm, but then I was reminded of why I haven't been playing the game too much in a very long time, other than the dangers of encountering hackers in the official Nintendo Network servers.
I'm afraid I only have one race to provide to you this time, so enjoy.
