Un proyecto de reconstrucción / recreación, de la música y el show audiovisual original "Exploding Plastic Inevitable" de Andy Warhol & The Velvet Underground and Nico de 1966.
Cuando se cumple el 50 aniversario de aquel espectáculo pionero, el MUSAC de León presenta EXPLODING PLASTIC INEVITABLE. RE-MAKE / RE-MODEL.
Para el mismo fin se ha creado una banda “de laboratorio” integrada por los siguientes músicos: Miryam Gutiérrez (Vocalista de The Bright), Reyes Paramio e Ignacio Rodríguez (Batería y guitarra fundadores de Art & Beauty) Daniel Spencer (Guitarra de Blue Lines) y Guillermo Alonso ( Bajo) que han estudiado las grabaciones sonoras de aquellos espectáculos, ensayando durante meses el repertorio original.
El registro audiovisual del show de re-construcción que se celebró la noche del 01/12/2016 en el Laboratorio 987 del MUSAC, la recreación de las películas de Warhol y las videocreaciones resultantes, son un trabajo del videoartista Javier Largen.

EXPLODING PLASTIC INEVITABLE RE-MAKE / RE-MODEL
A reconstruction / recreation project, music and the original audiovisual show "Exploding Plastic Inevitable" by Andy Warhol & The Velvet Underground and Nico of 1966.
When the 50th anniversary of that pioneering show is celebrated, MUSAC de León presents EXPLODING PLASTIC INEVITABLE. RE-MAKE / RE-MODEL.
For the same purpose, a "laboratory" band has been created, composed of the following musicians: Miryam Gutiérrez (Vocalist of The Bright), Reyes Paramio and Ignacio Rodríguez (Drums and guitar founders of Art & Beauty) Daniel Spencer ) And Guillermo Alonso (Bajo) who have studied the sound recordings of those shows, rehearsing the original repertoire for months.
The audiovisual record of the re-construction show held on the night of 01/12/2016 at MUSAC's Laboratory 987, the recreation of Warhol's films and the resulting videocreations are a work of video artist Javier Largen.
