Hello,
I have made a sanding thicknesser for bow limbs from scrap wood. You can see it is powered by a battery drill and is small in size for portability. There is a screw at the back that you can not really see in the video. This screw adjusts the depth of the sander. I am using 120 grit paper.

Hello,
I bought a spray gun that sprayed like crazy and made a fantastic mess! I thought that I may try and control the spray with an electronic device bought on ebay for around £4 including postage. It works really well. Slows the gun to be able to spray emulsion, acrylic and water based varnish and wood filler. This video shows the gun and controller. Others to follow include painting with different paint types and wood filler and varnish. Also, crackle glaze. a really nice finish.

Hello,
Here is a video of me working through a book I bought to learn about using an oscilloscope. The book is called "Use Of The Dual Trace Oscilloscope" by Charles H. Roth. The book is a programmed text, having questions on each page with the answers on the following page. The book is broken into four sections, each with a preparation chapter and then a lab chapter. There is a math content that requires knowledge of trigonometry and calculus.
This video looks at measuring voltage on the X axis (horizontal scale) making use of the X-Y mode.
The scope is a Farnell DTV 20, 20 MHz scope. It came without a manual so I am having to figure out how it works.
I am learning about electronics as it is something I wish to do as a career. I am currently studying for an HND Electronics course. The oscilloscope is to help me learn the practical aspect.
Please subscribe as I will be updating my channel with more videos.
Thanks

Hello,
Here is a video of my basic intro for a series I plan to make. I have made this using Blender, a free open source software that allows you to make 3D animations. There are a number of free instructional videos on youtube, I will add the one that I used as I thought that it was the more helpful.
Thanks
