I wanted this back in the day when I was a kid. It's an original Kyosho Ferrari F40 (Kit No. 4257) that I bought partially built from someone on Ebay. I finished it and painted the body with Tamiya PS-2 paint. It runs great and looks fantastic. This is closer to 1:8,5 scale than the specified 1:10 scale, and it has much more presense than the usual 1:10 touring car size. It is about the same scale as my Porsche 959 rally car. The stock tires are cracked and only good for display, so I left them on the stock wheels and 3D printed accurate replica wheels to use with running tires. The modern tires were made for 2,2" and since this car uses the old 2,0" standard I had to modify the modern tires to fit by cutting off a segment and gluing it back together. It works fine and I posted some pictures of the process in my community tab here on Youtube.
