It might not feel like it, but Ubisoft have in fact more than committed to the VR space in recent years with the likes of Transference and Star Trek Bridge Crew but two of the company’s entries and it looks as if they’re ready to add to that growing list this coming October. Their latest title taking players to the depths of space in Agos: A Game of Space. Taking control of the AI behind in charge of the last ship to leave a desolated Earth, players explore a multitude of stellar systems with the primary aim, of course, being to expand the accompanying main ship and survive the vastness of space.
Be it mining nearby asteroids for resources, developing new technologies, trading with fellow ships or even exploring the remains of abandoned stations you stumble upon, the entire game plays out in first-person as players get to grips with what is described as a “realistic physics-based” system of gameplay, to press on. One, the developers claim, removes the concern for any kind of motion sickness. Agos: A Game of Space releases on October 28 for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Valve Index.

Borderlands 3’s final DLC is a mystery no more.
As promised, Gearbox has today officially unveiled Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, the fourth campaign add-on for Boderlands 3. The DLC arrives September 10 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Psycho Krieg explores what makes the game’s crazed psychos so ridiculously bloodthirsty. The story takes place inside the mind of famed psycho Krieg, as scientist Patricia Tannis believes they have been driven mad by the knowledge of a place called Vaulthalla.
The DLC’s unusual setting promises to be completely different from the game’s previous campaigns. You’ll explore the world of Krieg’s own psyche, experiencing the world as he sees it. As always, you’ll find many new items within Krieg’s mind that you can bring to the rest of the game, including legendary weapons and cosmetic items such as skins and heads.
On September 10, Borderlands 3 will also receive a free update, which increases the level cap to 65. Gearbox says this is the last boost to the level cap the game is getting, for now.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is included in the season pass, and will also be available to purchase a la carte. If you’re looking to learn more, Gearbox is hosting a livestream today on its official Twitch channel, where you’ll be able to catch an interview with game director Maxime Babin at 1pm PT, 4pm ET, 9pm UK.
And, as a reminder, the Borderlands 3 anniversary celebration continues on, with its final event ending on the DLC’s release date.

There have been a lot of successful and/or notable attempts at blending rhythm games with other genres, such as Crypt of the NecroDancer. And appropriately enough, Nippon Ichi’s upcoming platformer Mad Rat Dead is not only another such hybrid, but one that also involves the dead being brought back to life. In this case, though, it’s our main character that’s the newly-risen. A lab rat is getting a chance to redo their last day of life thanks to the Rat God, with the catch that they have to keep their now-sentient heart beating, as seen in the new gameplay trailer below from NIS America.
Be it jumping, dashing, attacking, or even just dancing, our titular mad rat needs to time their movements in order to match the beat of the music, keeping their heart active. But should players happen to make a fatal move, they can also rewind the beats and try again. Mix in some challenging and fun platforming like that with an eye-catching blend of cartoon and punk aesthetics, and you have a potential platforming sleeper hit. Mad Rat Dead comes out on October 30 for the Switch and PS4, arriving just in time for Halloween.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Hitman 3 will be fully playable with PlayStation VR when the game is released early next year.
That was revealed at the State of Play tonight. Players can experience the entire game in virtual reality with the PlayStation VR. A new trailer was also shown, which can be seen below.
Hitman 3 was announced in June this year and should be the final installment of the reboot trilogy and Agent 47's 'most personal part' yet. The game, like the entire franchise, revolves around shooting targets with the bald assassin as cleverly or creatively as possible.
Hitman 3 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia in January 2021.
Infinity Ward and Activision today fully revealed the Halloween event for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Haunting of Verdansk kicks off October 20 and runs through November 3. During that time, Modern Warfare and Warzone players can log in to experience some frightful treats.
Up front, players will notice two iconic faces of horror are joining the fray. Players can purchase Billy the Puppet from Saw and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre skins for Morte and Velikan, respectively. There are also additional Halloween themed skins for other operators, though they aren’t based on pre-established characters.
Those looking for a spooky place to play, look no further than Warzone where players can now jump into a nighttime version of Verdansk map. Not only does the added darkness enhance the tension, but there are plenty of frights to uncover. You might find a ventriloquist doll on TVs, a poltergeist wandering the Farmland, or even a ghost train filled with lost souls.
Too spooky? Well, you can still earn Halloween rewards while playing on the day map. Throughout the event, players can open special Trick or Treat Supply Boxes littered throughout Verdansk. These contain a bunch of special items, including blueprints, watches, charms, and more. Collecting all 16 individual rewards unlocks the ‘Pumpkin Smasher’ blueprint.
However, the big new mode is Zombie Royale, which pits players against the undead. Instead of going to the Gulag, dead players return as Zombies with increased speed, improved jumps, deadly melee attacks, and thermal vision. However, players can return from the dead by collecting syringes dropped after a player is killed. The last squad standing with a living Operator wins.
Unfortunately, the Halloween festivities aren’t as prevalent in multiplayer, though there are some. In every mode, player’s heads now turn into a jack-o-lantern after getting three kills in a single life. That head turns into a flaming jack-o-lantern after ten consecutive kills. There are also some cosmetic changes in specific game modes, like skulls instead of dog tags in Kill Confirmed and scarecrows instead of flags in Domination. Sadly, it does not appear that you can earn the 16 Halloween items by playing multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
