Candelabra to E26 wiring conversion
This is a quick inside look of how to bypass the Candelabra wattage regulation to install an E26 light kit in a ceiling fan. This ceiling fan did not have lights, just a cover plate. When the plate is removed there are 2 high voltage wires, white and blue. The blue is your hot wire, and the white is neutral. Unfortunately those wires do not supply enough wattage to light an e26 light bulb arrangement. This is a quick way to bypass that to gain full 120v. Hope this helps anyone dealing with the same issue I've had on multiple ceiling fans over the years. I would say do not try this at home as a disclaimer, but if you've made it this far you're probably going to disregard that statement, So good luck and don't electrocute yourself! Thanks for watching
