The Laugo Alien is a boutique competition pistol that has gained much allure but not many real reviews.
We got a hold of one.
Let's discuss.

Last year at SHOT we took a look at the M43, KelTec's Cold War styled version of the RDB bullpup. It looked really cool, and people appeared to be very interested in it. The M43 has not appeared on the market actually for sale in the year since, so we wanted to ask KelTec:
Is the M43 RDB still a thing?

We'll be cross publishing Sinistral Rifleman's very analytical tear down of each stage for this series of Desert Brutality 2019 episodes.
We think you'll find them insightful and interesting, as well as a different approach to the topic than you see with some of the other InRange content.
Russell Phagan, a.k.a. Sinistral Rifleman, was literally an essential part to making Desert Brutality 2019 the incredible success that it was.

First off:
This is *not* a SR vs Karl video, but each of us versus the target itself.
We asked InRange Patreon supporters for ideas for Sinistral Rifleman and I to attempt with the dreaded MGM Spinner target and they absolutely delivered!
In this first of many Spinner Challenge videos, we use a SxS hammered coach gun and a 870 RDS enhanced pump on the dreaded spinner target, as well as discuss spread of shot patterns over relatively short changes in distance.

We had a chance to put a X95 Tavor through a 2G-ACM match. It was an opportunity to get some practical shooting time under the clock with this bullpup, so let's find out how it does on the clock!
Ian shot a not yet completed beta version of his WWSD AR15 DMR build to start testing things out. Ian's rifle has a Primary Arms 2.5x ACSS optic:

Karl & the X95 used a Vortex Strikefire red dot:

Stage 2 is a straight up CQB stage with close range paper and a transition to pistol.
Does the shorter OAL of the X95 Tavor really help in this role?

In this mud test we torture a reproduction (Uberti) 1876 Winchester lever action rifle chambered in 45-60. We proposed that this should have been a rifle considered for combat service in our What If Lever Gun Series of videos, so with that in mind, let's find out how it can weather the harshest of all InRange endeavors: our mud.

In this video we discuss the process we utilized in selecting the BCG (bolt carrier group) for our WWD rifles as well as what our conclusion came to.

The AR15/M16 is more reliable in the mud and dirty conditions than the AKM, although it does require more maintenance to do so.

Brownells has recently released their BRN-180 upper, an AR-180 system that fits onto any standard AR-15 lower receiver.
The BRN-180 provides the AR-18 short stroke gas system and action, and thus the benefits and features of the AR-18 without the cost of that now quite collectable rifle. Additionally, it is modernized with an m-lok free float handguard and picatinny rail.
Karl and Sinistral Rifleman take two similar BRN-180 builds out to the Rio Salado rifle match to test the only way such at thing really can be tested: on the clock, with a score.
Stay tuned for a bunch more videos regarding this new product from Brownells coming to InRange in the near future!
