"Just One More!" Senators, Activists Protest Betsy DeVos Confirmation.
Hundreds of protesters and several senators gathered Monday night outside the capitol to protest the confirmation of Betsy Devos, Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Education. Activists shouted “just one more!” referring to the fact that as of now, only one more senator would have to commit to voting “no” for Devos to be rejected.

A retired pastor wearing a sweatshirt that reads "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Morals are Worse Than Animals" spoke today to News2Share about his support for Donald J Trump.
When News2Share's Ford Fischer asked him how he reconciles a hardline Christian stance on sexuality yet supports Trump (who has had three marriages and bragged about attempting to sleep with a married woman), he said "he'll be a lot better than Hillary Clinton."

Zachary Cruz, brother of alleged Marjorie Stoneman Douglas School Shooter Nikolas Cruz, announced We Isolate No-one "WIN" Thursday afternoon at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
WIN plans to create youth-led student organizational chapters in schools across the country and has already unveiled a 24-hour anti-bullying hotline.
"I cannot sit by and watch another tragedy happen," Cruz told reporters. "At the end of the day, bullying and isolation is a national crisis. Kids are dying. The kids know. Since we know, it's our responsibility to make changes."
The organization will receive $800,000 - $1,200,000 support from Nexus, a corporation that provides several services related to incarceration, criminal defense and due-process rights.
News2Share's Ford Fischer spoke to Nexus CEO Mike Donovan about the upcoming initiative, its motivation, and its formation.

Kenneth Walker, the boyfriend of Breonna Taylor, spoke out Saturday at a rally commemorating her life on the one-year anniversary of her death.
"We gotta keep going," he told the crowd, who chanted "hero! hero!" when he took the stage.
Walker was originally charged for one shot he fired as officers - whom he mistook as intruders - broke down his door. The charges have now been dropped with prejudice, meaning he cannot be recharged for the incident.

Right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos and right-wing activist Laura Loomer spoke Saturday at the "Demand Free Speech" Rally.
Yiannopoulos appeared in a wig and with fake breasts to imitate the appearance of Loomer as he began speaking.
The two condemned social media censorship and the left wing more broadly, which they branded as violent threats to their existential rights.
Toward the end of Loomer's speech, an individual with an anti-Semitic sign attracted attention and was physically removed by the Proud Boys, disrupting her speech.

As the Supreme Court began hearing arguments in Hawaii v. Trump to decide whether one of President Trump's latest "Muslim Ban" policies violates federal law, activists outside condemned the travel ban as unconstitutional and unhelpful to national security.
The ban prevents nationals from six Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States. The Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether the policy discriminates against a particular religious group and whether President Trump has the constitutional authority to impose it.
"It is a false choice to say that somehow our national security depends on banning Muslims," said Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. "That is just playing to the racism and the Islamaphobia that is already out there."
