This original song was composed by Rampert Ratnaiya in 2008 which was a response to the many farmer suicides that was happening in the country. We cannot look at it dispassionately because God who created man in His image is concerned about the justice matters of people. We cannot say like Cain "Am I my brother's keeper"?

In our spiritual journey, there were some songs that seem to echo every sentiment that we had in our hearts. In our time of Joy we could sing some of them, in our times of trial we were encouraged by the words in some others, in our times of discouragement or when at crossroads some others edified us. We compiled them on to an audio CD which we have released. We have named it "En Idayame Ummai Paadum." We are presenting it here so that you can sample a bit of what is in it. There are songs by Emil Jebasingh, J. V. Peters, Oneday Moses, David Ponnuswamy, VBS, B. Rajan and Isaac Moses Dawn.
