They were marketed towards a female user base with a stylish design and displays that act as mirrors when turned off. This is Part 2 of a special Vintage Nokia Restoration video featuring a 19 year old Nokia 6800. I got this 6800 in 2020 for about $25 ish and it came with its original box and some accessories. As you can see it is in pretty bad shape and I will be restoring it in this video! The Nokia 6800 is a Nokia Series 40 running smartphone that sports a very strange and unique fold out keyboard design. The full qwerty keyboard folds over the display and forms a full landscape form factor focused on texting and email. The keyboard works by 4 power connectors that switch when moved over. The Nokia 6800 series is a series of text and email focused devices such as the Nokia 6810, Nokia 6820 and Nokia 6822. The series eventually had its successor which was the Nokia E70 which was from the Nokia E-Series but shared the same design from the 6800 series. The Nokia 6800 is a rare Nokia device to find in good condition as its flip out keyboard design is extremely fragile. The Nokia 6800 does not share the same Nokia toughness as other Nokia phones and can be damaged easily. The main body of the phone is relatively tough tho. The Nokia 6800 is definitely one of the most strange Nokia designs or weirdest Nokia Phones ever!
