EU takes our money, net €1.5bn in 2020 to impose laws on us.
As a state, we have made a net annual contribution to the EU budget of 1.5 billion euro in 2020, which will be 40% of our total national debt servicing. In 2018, Ireland was a net contributor of 720 million euro.
According to the government data Ireland will have made a gross contribution to the EU budget in 2020 of 3.48 billion, an increase of 1 billion from 2019.
2016 - 16.7% (2.02 billion)
2018 - 25.8% (2.58 billion)
2019 - 2.48 billion euro.
2020 - 40.0% ( 3.48 billion).
So Ireland's Gross contribution to EU has increased by 1 bn euro since 2019.
Our net contribution has doubled since 2018.
Our EU future will be financially crippling.
Ireland's role in the EU has been reduced to a compliant cash cow. Our political class lack both the will and capacity to assert our national interests and forge our own destiny in the world .#Irishfreedom
