Science can sometime tell you one thing but experience and result can tell you another.
I see it in the gym all the time. people will spend months even years on an exercise wanting a certain result and science tells them that this is the right exercise to achieve that result but for some strange reason they are not getting the result.
It's not because they are doing the exercise wrong or with the wrong intensity it's because they are doing the wrong exercise for the result they are looking for.
