They taught him the second word of Unrelenting Force and the first word of Whirlwind Sprint. Their final trial for him is the next quest, "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller". He must recover old Jurgen's horn from Ustengrav, a burial ground in the marshes near Morthal northwest of Whiterun. However, back in Ivarstead, Davilas was waylaid by some Cultists that think he is a false Dragonborn. This began the Dragonborn DLC story line with the quest "Dragonborn". I do not expect to start this quest line until after the completion of the main story. Now, Davilas is on his way to Orphan Rock near Helgen to recover Nettlebane for the quest "The Blessings of Nature", issued by Danica, the Priestess of Kynareth in Whiterun. Davilas resumes at the Alchemist's Hut that he discovered south of Ivarstead, and he continues west along the mountain pass towards Helgen. Along the way, he discovers a cave named Haemar's Shame. He also meets a poacher--er, Hunter--from whom he purchases a Bear Pelt. He is still collecting Bear Pelts for Temba in Ivarstead. He discovers the Falkreath Stormcloak Camp, very close to Orphan Rock. I have read that it is possible to pull the Witches and Hagraven at Orphan Rock to the Stormcloak camp and get a little help. Davilas then infiltrates Orphan Rock. There are three Witches and a Hagraven. The Witches use low-level spells, while the Hagraven uses more powerful magic. Try not to provoke all four at once, or it will be a tough fight. When the Hagraven is dead, she can be looted for Nettlebane. Careful; her attacks may inflict Brain Rot, which reduces Magicka. Davilas uses the Hagraven's Arcane Enchanter. He disenchants a set of Cultist Robes to learn the Fortify Magicka Regen enchantment. Davilas levels up to Level 13 and boosts his Stamina. Under Speech, he gets the first Haggling perk, which improves buying and selling prices by 10%. Then, he disenchants some Robes of Conjuration that he finds to learn the Fortify Conjuration & Magicka Regen enchantment. Before going back to Whiterun, Davilas will find the Eldergleam Sanctuary so that he can fast-travel there. He fast-travels to the Atronach Stone in the marshy area northeast of Ivarstead and south of Windhelm. Northwest of the Atronach Stone, Davilas discovers the entrance to Eldergleam Sanctuary. Afterwards, Davilas fast-travels back to Whiterun. At the Temple of Kynareth, he talks to Priestess Danica. Not keen on touching Nettlebane herself, she asks Davilas to visit Eldergleam Sanctuary and retrieve Eldergleam Sap. Then, Maurice Jondrelle approaches Davilas and asks to accompany him so he can see Eldergleam for himself. Well, certainly! Unfortunately, he is weak. Afterwards, Davilas fast-travels back to Eldergleam Sanctuary. For the moment, the NPCs inside Eldergleam Sanctuary are non-hostile. When he reaches roots blocking the path, he must equip Nettlebane and use it to strike the roots to make them move. Maurice will take issue with Davilas using violence to retrieve sap from the Eldergleam, even if it is to cure Gildergleam. Plus, if Davilas uses Nettlebane to tap the Eldergleam, a bunch of Spriggans will attack. If Davilas accepts Maurice's proposal, Maurice will provide a nonviolent solution. The Eldergleam will bless Davilas with a sapling to plant in the Gildergleam's place. Maurice will remain to meditate at hte Eldergleam. Afterwards, Davilas takes the Eldergleam Sapling. He has to return this to Danica. Outside, Davilas fast-travels back to Whiterun. At the Temple of Kynareth, he talks to Priestess Danica again. She is upset at first, but eventually she accepts the Eldergleam Sapling. This completes the quest "The Blessings of Nature". Afterwards, Danica offers training in Restoration magic. She is a Master-level trainer, so she can train up to Restoration skill level 90. Nettlebane is no longer flagged as a quest item, so Davilas puts it away in his chest at home. They explored the innermost rooms, the Emerald Font and the Demihuman Gutter. Now, they will challenge the King-Kings, a pair of unique monsters in the Demihuman Gutter. The party resumes at the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. I notice they have a full stack of Gold Nopon Coins. I know of a good use for those. The party skip travels to the Sage's Domicile in the Dannagh Desert, Fornis Region. They talk to Seekseek and exchange 99 Gold Nopon Coins for a Memory Locket, which allows a non-Healer to revive knocked out allies. Thank you, Seekseek. Mio equips a Memory Locket for now. The party skip travels to the Demihuman Gutter in the Rebellion Cave, Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. Mio prepares a little farther by equipping the Soul Hack skill, which allows the party to earn a unique monster's skill or art upon defeating it without having a Soulhacker in the party. On the northern platform, the party confronts the King-Kings. They are Conqueror Deepwan, a Level 102 unique Igna, and King Krawkin, a Level 102 unique Tirkin/Gulkin. King Krawkin is a bard, and it can summon allies into the battle, so I would normally recommend defeating it first. However, Conqueror Deepwan can inflict Target Lock with the King's Gas art, and it uses it frequently. As annoying as these fiends are, they don't seem too bad for a Level 99 party. Upon defeating Conqueror Deepwan, the Soulhacker learns the master art King's Bash. Upon defeating King Krawkin, the Soulhacker learns the class art Desperate Charge. Mio updates her skills. Lanz masters the Full Metal Jaguar class. He changes his class to Stalker. Sena, having previously mastered the Royal Summoner class, changes her class to Machine Assassin. Noah, having previously mastered the Thaumaturge class, changes his class to Signifer. The King-Kings were guarding a Legacy of the Seven coffer. They open it for the Solis Rings accessory, excellent for Healers. Below the King-Kings' platform, the party finds a skirmish between Level 100 Archknight Tirkins and Level 100 Bloodthirsty Ignas. They assist the Archknight Tirkins for 5 Silver Nopon Coins. In the northwest, the party takes out a couple of elite Level 99 Sword Ignas controlling access to an Ether Sphere. After the battle, they farm a ton of HD Ether for Ino. The party does a bit of class grinding in the Demihuman Gutter. At one point, Eunie equips a Memory Locket. Taion masters the Lifesage class. He changes his class to Lapidarist. Sena masters the Machine Assassin class. Looks like she's mastered most of the Attacker and Defender classes. Initially, she switches to Full Metal Jaguar. However, Eunie still has to work on Attacker classes. She changes her class to Full Metal Jaguar. Sena changes her class to Lone Exile. Unfortunately, defeating the monsters around the campfire in the southeast does not unlock a new campsite for the party. Then again, this is not the nicest place for camping. When the party has finished grinding for now, they skip travel to the Vinisog Holm Camp, where they rest and save. Next time, they will continue class grinding. Thanks for watching!
