An infantry fighting vehicle approached our position, grenades were thrown at us. Naturally, we decided to surrendered,’ said support platoon commander of the AFU 82 Airborne Brigade Junior Lieutenant Andrey Sakar. ‘Russian servicemen who took us prisoner treated us well. They provided us first aid and evacuated us,’ he said. ▫️ ATGM section commander of the AFU Assault Brigade Junior Sergeant Vitaly Ivanov said that he was trained in Germany: ‘After a month of training, we returned to Ukraine. We were trained again there. We had American instructors.’ ▫️After the psychological training conducted by foreign specialists, Vitaly was also surprised by the good attitude of the Russian servicemen: ‘Russian servicemen were so humane, I didn't expect that.’
