Brandon McNeil, who's 20 years old, was handed a life sentence with a minimum of 24 years after admitting to murdering Shane Jerome, who was 23, in Brixton, south London, in July of 2021. Three appeal judges have reduced that minimum term to 20 years and 247 days after hearing the case at a Court of Appeal hearing in London on Friday.
