My 9 yr old son, Layton, and I were at the pool when he told me to record him. I thought he was going to do a flip....but that's not what he did. Lol ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3z2QpK1QbLY
This was the day after we got her so I hadn't gotten her eyeboogers under control yet? She's so precious and already an important part of our family. I've never really ever been a cat person but I love her so much. I can't wait to get her hair cut like a lion! She was expensive but she's worth every penny. Dixie isn't very happy about it though?♀️ She's very jealous and Poppy already beats her up so she's not too thrilled about the situation.

It’s been living under our front porch and tearing up our’s and our neighbors’ yards so we ordered a trap for it. I really didn’t expect it to be so damn cute? We own some more property in Gulf County(we live in Bay County) that’s alot more secluded than where we live so Doug is taking it to release it there. Poor little thing?

Okay, so I've had this turtle that we have been calling "Mr. Turtle" in my fenced-in backyard for about 3 months now. I've been feeding him, I built him a little house out of rocks, I made him a little swimming area by burying a shallow aluminum pan in the ground next to his little rock house and i keep it filled with water, and I even brought him a friend home to keep him company about a month ago. Fast forward to last night(June 30, 2018)- My husband and I are in our backyard when we notice "Mr. Turtle" just chilling under our little tree. We go over to see what's up with him and see that he has dug a little hole and had his butt hanging over it. I lean over to get a better look at what he's doing and the damn thing lays an egg! So "Mr. Turtle" is actually a Miss Turtle and in a few months(hopefully) we're gonna have little baby Miss Turtles! I'm SO excited! They will be precious little babies❤ I have made sure her little nest is protected with a wire cage over it. Even though we don't have to worry about skunks, raccoons, etc. digging up the eggs since we have a vinyl fence around our backyard, we do have a Chihuahua and a Min Pin who are very curious and like to dig holes in our backyard. Hopefully everything will work out and I will be posting a video of little turtle babies coming out of the ground in a few months?❤?
*Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm trusting mother nature will run it's course and things will happen the way they need to happen but still, if there is anything I can do to help make sure the babies and mother are healthy and happy, please let me know☺ Thank you!
