With a simple modification to a cheap camera you can see through some plastics and see things outside of the visible spectrum.The camera is somewhat blurry because the lens was tweaked resulting in a very close up focus and low DOF. Edit: Tripod mount stripped out. Use with caution. A budget camera and shotgun mic, better than expected? From my observation, the mic is very directional, and has a clear sound. The camera is average for a small lens CMOS, but performs well for chroma key videos. My main complaint is that files are overwritten by sequential name when recording after a power cycle, if any of you know how to disable that, that would be great, as it seems like a firmware bug rather than a hardware flaw.
