CAD model of a standard mil-spec side sling mount. I reverse engineered this from a WILSON J G CORP (CAGE 83005) manufactured sling mount. STEP and original design files are included, STLs are not included in this release as a plastic version will not function properly. Verify dimensions before manufacturing.
My own modification of the Derwood Mod 9.
Changes include:
Shift to more "Angular Aesthetic"
Integrated the ejector mount into the receiver so that it prints as one piece
Created Multiple Mag-well designs for Mod 9 lower
1913 Rear cap for braces and stocks
Changes to the charging handle and handguard based off of the WTF-9 Mussy variant
Adapted AWCY Scorpion Brace to work with design
2 methods of mounting barrel retainer
1. Standard method (threading bolts into plastic in the reciever)
2. EXPERIMENTAL: Thru hole in the receiver to grade 12.9 hex nuts
To Do:
Create easier method of assemby (replace cross screws with Hk or Ar15 style cross pins)
Compile everything into STEP and STL files
Create PDF Build Guide
Create Variant With 1913 Top Rail
Fix "Hump" at the front of the lower
Simple 3d printable wrench for FAL. I designed it so most of the stress would be taken by the steel parts to help increase its max torque. This can be made with only a hacksaw, file, drill, and 3d printer.
Blueprints for Groza, verify journal sizes, and overall dimensions are correct for your parts before making barrel. If converting a Krink barrel, the barrel length should not need adjustment, and only the front end should need modification.

Video I made on installing your upper parts kit, and a super easy way I found to install your dust cover c-clip without it flying across the room, forcing you to buy another one, which will cause you to wait a few days. In those few days you will be wondering, why didn't I watch this video, why did I fail to consume this brilliant (wildly autistic) content, and where was this video when my life when my wife left me for spending $20k on dust cover c-clips only to fail to successfully install a single one.

In this video I repair a pattern 83 battle jacket using a sewing awl. What I do in this video can also apply to repairing other pieces of outdoor/tactical gear. I'm no seamstress so please go easy on me.
Materials used
>speedy stitcher (sewing awl) w/ #4 needle
>Bonded Nylon 6,6 thread #138 T135 420D/3
>3/4in A-A-55301 Milspec nylon webbing (I sourced this from jontay)
Some 3d printable drilling jigs I designed, details about making and assembling the jig are in the readme file. These can be used for RPK and AK recievers to drill the rivet holes, it is not compatible with Chinese ak trunnions , or ak74/22mm trunnions. I will release a ak74 version at a later date.
Update 7/16/22: Revised the documentation
