Fortunately, I have power at my home now. Many are without power including other parts of Lake Carles and Sulphur. Everything west of Sulphur... Vinton, Louisiana is in the dark. Please keep those without power in your thoughts and prayers. Please help those in need if you live in the area and are able to. The Wal Mart in Sulphur received damage as well as overturned cars and mangled gas stations. Recorded May 23, 2024 at 10:00 am. There has been another flood warning for this are through May 28, 2024. This flooding has been ongoing for nearly a week. This is how some people have to drive into work. If you don't have a truck, don't drive through this water. It's a little scary not know where the street ends and the river starts!
