Robert Wimer | "The Transformers" Jingle | Day 217
DONATE TO THE GREEN HILLS ANIMAL SHELTER
While this song was used during the opening credits of "The Transformers" cartoon, it was also used while promoting merchandise during commercials, so I considered it a jingle. Ah, the 80s.

This is one of my favorite hymns. Admittedly, this will be song at my funeral. This hymn was born out of tragedy for the composer, who lost his family at sea. When his ship went over the spot where the other ship that was to bring his family over to America stopped, he composed this hymn.
You can follow / catch up at the 1st link below, make song requests and help support this odyssey. ALL proceeds will go to the Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton, MO (http://greenhillsanimalshelter.org). I will keep this GoFundMe cause open throughout the year and close it out once this is over and present the check to the shelter where it will help a lot of critters.

The Natural Artistry of Singing is a method of teaching voice that allows the student to have a natural and effortless technique which gives them better range, power, the ability to sing virtually any style of music and gives them the confidence to sing like a pro. This method also gives the student the tools to create the mindset of a professional, which gives them confidence in any situation.
View all the videos and learn the philosophy/exercises in The Natural Artistry of Singing: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQUT03U6m4_DJcent1ughXyH7LNa1BCKj
The four foundations of this method are:
Technique:
Through the application of correct technique, the student can sing virtually any style of music. The Natural Artistry of Singing Method does not teach a student to mimic a style but to incorporate core fundamentals. These fundamentals are best learned in "immersion" lessons, thus establishing the technique quickly.
Artistry:
Being a "mechanically correct" singer is one thing, but capturing the attention of your audience as well as delivering a memorable performance is the goal of every singer. The Natural Artistry of Singing method goes over key techniques to find the songs "meaning", how to make the music your own and most importantly, how to deliver that message to your audience.
Mind:
It all starts with the mind and the creation of a new "vocal identity". The Natural Artistry of Singing method establishes a new paradigm (core idea) of what "singing" is meant to be. This new core idea moves the student quickly through technique, learning new materials, establishing peak performance and gives him/her the confidence found in great performers.
Body:
The human voice is unique among instruments as it is the only one that is truly a part of "you". Overall health is addressed so the singer can be at his / her peak 100% of the time. The Natural Artistry of Singing method is not about losing weight to be a better performer but being a physically healthy singer.

My message is about understanding and destroying idols. I discuss the story of Gideon in the book of Judges and how God instructed him to destroy his father's altar to Baal and build one for God. I explain that idols are representations of deities and can be tangible or intangible. They can be statues or ideas that people worship. I emphasize that idols can be found in various aspects of life, such as religion, money, and even the Bible. I encourage listeners to examine and confront their idols to find contentment and joy in Christ. The sermon concludes with an invitation to accept Jesus as the savior.
