Boomerang thrower [Game Maker Studio 2 | Enemy Ai]
This enemy ai video tutorial shows you how to make a boomerang thrower the easy way in GameMaker Studio.
The idea is quite simple. You create a timed loop with a timer and then create a boomerang instance that has a direction and speed value assigned. The boomerang effect comes when you apply gravity as a counter force so that you get at some point a sweet spot where the boomerang flies backwards. That's it!
This advanced video tutorial will show you how to make the sun light ray effect in gamemaker studio. This light ray effect is being used in a lot of video games that want to highlight a new item, an unlockable or a simple rotating cone of light.

This character creation tool made in GameMaker Studio 2 will be way to create your own custom sprite for a sidescroller with only a few clicks.
You can choose there between distinct states like idle, run, fall, jump, attack, dead and hit for seperate sprite parts like the head, face, eyes, body or arms. In essence you can build your own character with modular parts with the colors you pick. The only limited is the imagination.
The idea is that you can simply create the sprites you need for your game in a few clicks.
The tool is has 2 version, basics and the full version that will be getting constant updates to enhance the parts you can you. These update packs will be something like a police pack, solider pack etc. .

This video series shows in the third part (this one here!) how to make the project happen. You are put in the shoes of the programmer and see how to step by step create the whole project from the ground up.
This project is quite big, so I will try to have a moderate speed. It means also, that I won't go into details over basics and therefore you should know at least have a decend understanding in programming to follow this stream. Noita is the newest game by Nolla Games. An awesome rouge lite with the most intriguing physics system I have seen for a sidescroller.
Is it good? Yes it is!
If you ever wanted to have realistic sandbox sidescroller video game where you can manipulate the environment to the pixel then you will have tons of fun with this procedural rouge lite video game. The game is for now in early access but fooling around with your wizard is a very satisfying experience. Enemies are in a lake? Freeze them. You need a passage? Bomb your way though. A wood structure blocking your way? Burn it down. The possibilities are endless. So if you are a fan of pixel art, rouge lites, Terraria or simply love to enjoy a new system of environment interaction with a mad wizard?! Then this is your game! For everybody else.... This is your game as well :D
This game even has mods... If set correctly we can have another Skyrim modding community here. Neat.
