NOTE: Even if a game is running/shown with a FPS counter of 60fps, the system recorder doesn't record as smoothly as the game runs at (but at the same time doesn't seem to heavily impact performance). With that in mind, the game's responsivity, functional sound (or stutters) and FPS counter should be representative of the game & emulator's performance in the video rather than what actually got recorded as the framerate. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuNPDQnqMhE
Using a Gamecube controller really helps with this game: Having to use analog accel and braking is rather important in actually getting far in this game, specially if you want to beat Lakeside, as in that stage you will have to really keep your acceleration controlled to avoid crashing repeatedly (though couldn't do it in this run, but I have done it ONCE before). Played on Model 2 Emulator 1.1 and a gamecube controller using PadSend.

I spent 8-10 minutes to try getting that one right and then what you see happens (still have to finish editing something proper, so in the meantime have this suffering)

other than the layout being possibly final (unless feedback is given to do tweaks), everything is obviously temporal and the color motif here *this time around* is just to keep track on the editor. As you might notice, laps aren't actually implemented yet, which is simple but I want to receive feedback first if any layout changes need to be done before going full track production mode.
Also this was also mostly done based off an unused/unfinished track I was working on back in 2019 (I was remaking said map but then I got a bit creative with the changes lol); the similarity to Ridge Turnpike Zone with the usage of ramps for turns is entirely a coincidence.
...by the way the song is Let It Go from Ollie King (left it playing on the background but very likely it won't be used in the final track)

Played in WolfMAME 0.226 with a Gamecube controller
Grinding this during the last 2 weeks I was offline was a fun challenge and I was feeling good with this run. Maybe I can get a 2'20 soon when I have some more free time.
Played on date: May 30 2021

I say "very likely" because he's that one guy I know that I ever played VF3 with that really knows well how to move a Jacky (since he mains him) so yeah this is the guess I have lol; guessing because this was last year and since the flycast nametag was incorrect, I couldn't be 100% sure about who I fought with here

This video is actually a full 1cc attempt...which ended up getting cut short by the Stage 2 bosses (I was close to beating them here though; and some days before I recorded this I actually got a surprise no continue with them).
This was recorded in July 18, 2021. I'll see when I can keep practicing but it feels good to have made some progress (even though it definitely feels with a bit of luck with the enemies lol).
Played on Hardest (I was told to practice with this :D), shoutouts to icuk7, nuppoko-san, 518 and all of the Spikeout players out there that always keep doing awesome runs and also gave me tips to play!

Also known as Dinosaur Canyon. When I thought "What if I added a thing from one of my favorite games to another" and having made before the Beginner course of DUSA, I thought on doing this. Yeah, with the 64DD creator again. Also changed music in video to match Daytona USA.
