In today's video, I will explain why heat pumps are a one-way road, under some conditions! Not always!
Long story short, I installed a heat pump three months ago, I measured its overall energy consumption at 2010 kWh and I haven't paid a dime for oil during this time.
3/4 of my home is equipped with a 10cm thick insulation shell and the doors and windows are new.

We deliver you the first UPS review (in English since we have done a few already in our Greek channel). The product under test is the PowerWalker VI 1000 GXB, which features 1000VA capacity and true sine output.
? Model number: PowerWalker V1 1000 GXB
? Type: Line-Interactive
? Capacity: 1000VA / 600W
? Output waveform: true sine
? Dimensions: Compact, Slim profile, 9.2 kg
? Sockets style: 4x Schuko, the upper ones offer battery back up while the bottom ones are only for surge protection
? LCD Panel: Yes, and a removable one, since it has its own batteries. This is a killer feature! I had it ten meters away from the UPS, and it worked fine. It offers tons of information and you can also set it to display basic system info, including CPU frequency, temperature, and utilization. I would like to have an option to set its active time or set it on indefinitely. I tried to find this setting but to no avail.
? Phone/Network surge protection: Yes
? Price: 162 euros in my country, including 24% VAT
? Warranty: 2-years for the UPS, 1-year for the battery
? Software: View Power Management compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. You must download it from the net since there is no software disc or flash drive in the bundle. You have to connect the UPS first to the system through USB. The USB cable is included. The software is easy to use and provides lots of information, but it takes a while to recognize the UPS, more than thirty seconds.
? Other interesting features: Two USB ports at the front for charging devices, one Type-A and one Type-C with up to 3 Amps max current output.
There is also RGB lighting which can be set to show you different operating modes of the UPS. Good luck remembering all color modes, though.
? Power consumption (standby): 13 W. It is pretty low in comparison to other uninterruptible power supplies that I have tested so far.
? Power consumption (idle): 14.4 W. Normal
? Power consumption (battery charging): 27.85 W
Power losses with 340W load and the UPS in normal operation: 36.05 W. This is quite high. It should be below 25 W.
? Power Factor (340W load): 0.9405. It is low
? Battery discharge time (340W Load): 4 minutes. It is normal given the battery’s capacity
? Battery Switching time (AC Loss and AC Gain): close to 8 ms for the first and nearly 9 ms for the latter. Both are low so there won’t be any issues.
? AVR Testing: Two AVR modes, one for low voltages, at 204.6V input, and one for high voltages at 250V input. The highest output is 250V, which is the best, while the lowest is 189.18V.
? Internal fan: 60mm sleeve bearing. The fan looks to be good, despite its sleeve bearing, since the factory claims 30K hours lifetime at 40 Centigrade.
? Noise: When

This video contains all of my thoughts about Nvidia's newest mainstream gaming card.
My conclusions on the RTX 3050 were based on the following review since I didn't have access to a sample of this card:

It is one of the strongest PSUs available in today's market with 2000W capacity, Platinum-certified, and a 7-year warranty. A powerful PSU which lacks the newish 12+4 pin PCIe connectors, though.
If 200A at 12V is not enough for you, there is also the SilverStone HELA 2050: https://youtu.be/Oxlz6fUgxNY

For another time, a PowerWalker product manages to impress me. The 1000 CSW is a steal at 120 euros, being almost 50 euros less expensive than the 1000 GXB model, which features RGB lighting and a removable screen which is highly convenient. Nonetheless, in a power cut, the more expensive GXB unit doesn’t hold a load as long as the CSW model because it uses a lower-quality battery! This is insane, but it is a fact! The less expensive model uses a higher quality battery, in my sample at least, which I bought from a store, so for sure, it isn’t a Golden sample.
True sine, decent surge protection, good enough build quality, and a super price, the PowerWalker 1000 CSW is the most affordable true sine UPS available in the market today, in my country at least, Greece, at around 120 euros. This is the best option for any medium-category system, and I need to find money now to buy the 1500VA version!!!
Since nothing is perfect, I would like to see an AVR circuit that doesn’t allow for below 200V and above 240 voltages since most PSUs are rated for 200 to 240V.
#Hardwarebusters #UPS #PowerWalker
Pros ?
•Great price!
•Pure Sine
•Good build quality
•Quality DC-link cap
•Compact dimensions
•Four schuko sockets (only two for battery and surge protection)
•Basic EMI and surge protection is offered
•AVR with proper operation
•LCD screen
•Front USB ports for charging devices
•Software compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac systems
•Low noise output when the fan is not spinning
Cons ?
•High energy losses during normal operation (AC power)
•Fan gets noisy once it is engaged
•AVR shouldn’t allow for lower than 200V output

"Alphaeon," this chair's name, consists of two words: "alpha" and "eon." Tesoro gave them the meaning "stand" and "lead the trend and sustainable." However, both halves are Greek words, with "Alpha" the beginning of everything (according to religion, Α-Ω) and "Aeon" a century (αιών-αιώνας) or, simply put, forever. The Alphaeon series includes two models, the S1 and S2. Both use quality materials and feature a distinct look that fits into a broad range of working and gaming environments.
The main difference between the two models is the use of mesh material on the S2, which is the product I am going to evaluate. The S1 comes in three different color options with a PU upholstery and has a higher price tag. The S2 is €10 more affordable at €229.99. Both chairs have the same dimensions and ergonomics, but a different upholstery and look.

Sony recommends using a heatsink on the optional M.2 SSD drive. Is this true? Also, should you put in place the SSD cover, which restricts the height of the heatsink that you will use?
Watch the video to learn the whole truth on this matter, through an extensive set of tests. Besides temperatures, we also provide speed measurements and we have a speed comparison between a WD Black SN850 and a Samsung 980 Pro, both with 1 TB capacity.

Recently Sony released a new version of the PlayStation 5 gaming console. The exterior differences are restricted to the screw that secures the base in position. At the interior, the major difference is the heatsink which weighs 300 gr less. The million-dollar question: which is better, the older and heavier PS5 or the new one? Watch the video to find out!
