For years I've been sort of cynical about Christmas, not the message behind it, but the commercialism. This year when I watched "A Christmas Carol", God thumped me (not literally) and I discovered I had been saying some of the same things about the commercialism that Scrooge said. It really made me pause and think. So this year, we do have a tree and I will honor the spirit of the day. No matter how old we are, we can always learn.
